Thanks for the tutorial! Does it work on plants that need to be moist en not too wet?

How long does a biophytum live? I've seen some people say that it will only last about 2 years, but talking about how yours will grow over time, it seems like it will be at least a bit longer than that.

Soil mix for this planet

Great - everything I wanted to know about calathea; I like they way you refer to it as her so I will do the same! Bought mine from B&M Stores in a sad condition lying on its side, didnt think it would survive but the price label said reduced from £20 to £1- couldn't go wrong with that so gave it a chance. Trimmed off the brown edges and sprayed it every day with a fine mist; new leaves came up damaged because of the neglect it had suffered but let them grow anyway. NOW I've got THREE new big pristine leaves getting higher every day and gradually unfurling - and they're perfect. It gets indirect sun for an hour every day and it looks stunning in front of my fireplace. Thanks for your great tips, I haven't checked the roots but maybe do that gently and see if I can get some perlite from somewhere, got the moisture granules so she's getting spoilt rotten to make up for her sad start in life!

Thanks for all the tnformation and care tips on A clarinervium. I believe it’ll be useful for other anthuriums also. My clarinervium hasn’t shown any growth since I bought it a year before. I’m taking all the care except the fertilising part, which I was not sure of. Thanks a lot for telling your Npk proportion. I’ll find a similar proportion npk. I hope my anthuriums will thrive then.

browning can also be caused by lack of good ventilation, make sure the air is changed frequently while keeping warmth in the room :)

I found one for $180 it has 3 big healthy leaves but the root is only like .5 an inch... im going to have it start growing in moss before i transplant it to soil but im having a hard time finding videos... since its a monstera can i just look at regular monstera care?
