I watched every Colts snap from this season, here's what I think of Anthony Richardson
anthony richardson was one of my biggest draft crushes ever. The fact he hasn't exaclty panned out yet is a little frustrating, but I'm still holding out hope.
I'm sure I'll look back on this video years down the line and laugh at my placement in the frame, but I didn't want to rerecord, lol.
Thank u for watching

sorry for the occasional mic bumps lol. This is a longer version of a video I did a while back on Tik Tok about why I think the interior of the defensive line is the most important position on defense. #football #nfl #defensiveline #defense Follow my Twitter: @/taggartkent Follow my Tik Tok: @/taggartkent
Right now he can not make all the throws 20 yards in those are the most important Andrew is not accurate and throws to hard a lot. He is not accomplished.
If he ran through a paper wall,he would miss 6 games
How can you people defend this guy, cant stay on the feild and cant read defenses he is a bust
i don’t think it’s fair to call someone who’s play 16 games a bust
Colts going to trade him and as soon as that happens his ass will blow up and be better then stroud.
U nailed it, next yr he’s gonna put ur all together I can feel it. Ballard needs to get him a real tight end. If u can’t get Tyler Warren maybe somebody experienced like Zach ertz (just an example idk his contract situation) but an experienced guy that can help him out.
hope ur right 🤞🏻
AR struggles with accuracy and decision making. Those are the two hardest traits to change. I want AR to be great but unless he is willing to put in the work (and so far he has not) he will be another example of drafting for potential instead of production.
i don’t think his decision making is all that poor tbh. yes he has his bad decision, but every QB does
hes a bust. look Will Levis is statistically better than AR in this 2024 season yet Levis got benched and is seen as a bust but AR the most in accurate QB in history is seen as a franchise QB?
AR gets wins tho. hes special
here🔥

It will be an important year 3 for Richardson. He really needs to take care of his growth. I would say the Colts are not an ideal and stable environment at this juncture. Put another way he has to do it despite this bad team. He needs to respond faster on plays. This will avoid those wrestling matches with the defense and forced scrambles and throws on the fly. Work on the mechanics and plant for throws. if he just focuses on that he will get better results. The injuries worry me. Get the ball out of your hands faster and you should cut down on those unpredictable hits running more than needed.
He has always been so much better than the competition that he could get by with sloppy basics. It all starts with the feet but not your back foot.
I feel it’s a lil misleading because he also had 6 rushing tds. So it’s really 14-12. Idk why they do that
You're absolutely right that he needs more time, and that it would be premature to give up on him, as some people have wanted to do since the day he was drafted. As you correctly observed, there are QBs that come into the league with WAY more experience, and even THEY need time to develop. He needs another 17-34 games to truly know what he can be.
Bro can't complete half his passes playing catch.
As a colts fan this is refreshing to hear. I may not watch anymore of your content, but I know a subscribe will go a long way. Thanks man
thank u!!!
Not giving up on AR, but the back issue concerns me.
I'm personally a Saints fan, but my friend is a Colts fan and he sent me this. Anthony Richardson can be great. This video is very well put together and has great understanding of what's going wrong with his development. He also just needs better coaching, as Shane hasn't been great. Not terrible, but not great. If he doesn't work out in Indy, I would absolutely take him in New Orleans. Especially if we get a good new coach that can develop. We've seen guys like Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfield, etc. break out on the right team. I hope that team is the Colts for AR, but the NFL is an impatient league. I think you should do Spencer Rattler next.
thank you! and for rattler I think i'd want to see him get more reps before I made a video like this for him
@TaggyK that's fair. There's a rift in the saints community on whether he can be good or not. I think he's in a similar boat to AR. They just need good development
Man as a Colts fan this is a breath of fresh air to watch. The kid just has not played enough and has shown too much to give up on just yet. Next year is going to be a huge year for him. Were gonna either see him improve or the writing may be on the wall. He's gotta stay healthy though as well.
I'm a huge AR supporter but at this point I don't think he's durable enough for the game. Run him next year then draft QB again from a much better 26 class.
yea the healht stuff is really concerning
He's an athlete not a quarterback. I'd say you could use them as the taysom hill roll. But he wouldn't last one game like that
He will be lucky to be in the league in 2-4 years.
The honest conversation is - What percentage of games has he been available for. This dude averages 2 to 6 games and then misses 2 to 14 He's a running quarterback that gets hurt running the ball. You absolutely cannot have that on top of his terrible completion percentage and his more interceptions and touchdowns. And his poor work ethic. Keeping him is bad for the team you think his injuries are going to get better with age? No an injury is always right around the corner with this dude. He's the youngest quarterback in the league but yet he who is the most injured. You going to play the sky pay him and then an injury is always one play away. I can't listen to the positives on this hes a bust. More players don't work out that are drafted then do this dude is nowhere near Cam Newton or Josh Allen
i think calling AR a running QB is pretty ignorant. He's a Qb who can run the ball
@TaggyK okay well he's a quarterback that's best attribute is to run the ball? Is that better for you. And he's a quarterback that what he does best at he gets hurt doing. And that will never get better with age. If you think otherwise you are ignorant
@TaggyK and I think it's ignorant the you chose one part of it and didn't even comprehend the rest of what I said or you just overlooked it what I said was absolute facts
You know ball sir
thx
AR can’t even do the bare minimum that is required of an NFL quarterback. Complete 50% of your passes, stay healthy for a season, have a good work ethic. Not tapping out in the middle of a drive. I think he’s a bust, I hope I’m wrong but, he hasn’t shown us anything. Yeah he’s athletic, yeah he can make a good throw but, what good is that if he can’t even do the basic easy stuff?
He might be too muscular in the arms and chest areas to make accuracy with the throwing motion. He needs trim down and play at 230lbs. He should target this offseason learning footworks and throwing accuracy in short and immediate routes. If he can complete those passes watch out NFL
Honestly, as a Colts fan who has watched every second of Anthony Richardson, I agree with some of your points. He does need reps, and he needs time to grow. However, this man is not mature. He thought it was okay to tap out and sit on the sideline because he was tired. His mental game isn’t there yet. This is a guy who faked being hurt just to scare Colts fans, only to quickly jump up like nothing was wrong. He may have God-given abilities in terms of body size, speed, and athleticism, but his mental approach isn’t ready for him to be a franchise quarterback. When your team has to come to you and explain the standards of playing in the NFL, that’s a problem. Plus, the best ability is availability. This is a results-driven league where billion-dollar corporations don’t have the patience to wait. Honestly, I can see Anthony Richardson becoming a star quarterback, but it might take a path similar to Geno Smith’s. He was thrown into the fire, bounced around the league, learned a lot, and eventually shined when given the opportunity. As a Colts fan, I truly hope the best for the team and for Anthony Richardson. But I don’t think he’s ready yet. Honestly, he could benefit from a couple more years of development. P.S. Amazing video and I actually enjoyed the background music that kept my attention. You are made to do this man!
Thank you!! that means a lot man. I don't wanna comment on his maturity level cause IDK him and havent paid enough attentnion, but I do feel like some of it is overblown
What about being injury prone.? Colts not sure what to do with hom.
that's a huge issue
yeah he does some crazy shit here and there but this dude is so inconsistent and when its lowlights its beyond low. Hes got a big year ahead of him with showing improvement and it has to be a big leap or most likely he is gone. It sucks that players have called him out for not meeting a standard because this dudes supposed to be the leader of the team and the franchise
I've been a Colts fan my entire life and I'm just ready to move on from Ballard
Is your first name really taggart? That shit is pretty dope. I love unique names
yes! thank you! my dad played baseball with someone with the same name and thought it was cool so he gave it to me lol
I’m not giving up on him either thanks for the video. I believe in Ant! Go colts
Don't give up on him he'll be injured every year he's a running quarterback that gets hurt running the ball you think that's going to get better with age that's why I'm running backs are done by 28 and this dude is far more injured than any running back
buddy was never cold
you should check out drake mayes tape. as a pats fan theres been an immense amount of flashes but a bunch of times it feels he gets let down by his supporting cast but also has missed at least two crucial throws that resulted in an interception. but what i see makes me so excited for the future
I've been watching a lot fo him recenlty actually. HE's so good, but I was already high on him from the pre draft process LOL
For your channel size this is the best quality video i have seen, keep up the work and you will make it.
thanku man
I’m glad that there’s someone that’s reasonable left. Nothing makes me madder than colts “fans” already trying to move on from him.
I agree bro AR was the only reason we were winning games
It’s the technological age… their brains aren’t working very well, they are like primates .
Mark my words Anthony Richardson is gonna be a good NFL one day I just hope it’s for the Colts
He was also the reason why we was losing games too man! @@redemptionx8650
@@coltsyanxMan honestly I can see Anthony Richardson being like a Geno Smith little down the line reviving his career
I want this dude to do well but this is his last season in the NFL if he has another sub 50% completion and sub 65 passer rating. Dude is flashy, yes. But it doesn’t even out. Next season will be the 3rd season in a row where the colts backup quarterback is better than the starter.
good video, your background music is too high and the exposure it too great.
okay im glad someone noticed. i think it happens in post, still tryinig to figure out how to fix.
turn down the background music some bro💪
heard
Here before you blow up
hope ur right lol
Being a Florida fan I completely agree with your assessment when it clicks there's not a more dangerous QB on earth but he's never been very consistent, I hope he figures it out
Dude… wow the effort of editing and the vibe is amazing for your channel size, you just earned a new sub. And I agree I think AR has a chance he can really become a new Cam
thank u bro, means a lot.
put anthony richardson on the niners offense and see what happens
17-0 and super bowl methinks
purdy is genuinely a better qb than AR, not more talented but better.
I agree, Make AR someone elses problem. Seriously though, I would gladly give this dude up to throw INTs and incomplete passes some where else. If he can even make it on the field with is history of being riddled with injuries. Now it has come to light that he has a pre-existing back injury causing him to miss even more games.
This video deserve sm more attention. Your editing is clean and the video is straight to the point. Great work!
thank you!!! <3
Super clear cut, awesome video!
thank you!!! <3
Favorite: Safety (the hits are my favorite) Hardest: Cornerback (the athleticism needed is insane) Coolest: Wide Receiver (the position most kids want to be other than QB) Most important non-QB: Defensive Tackle (Literally change how you call plays and what personnel you use)
good list tbh, i agree with hardest and coolest, obv id give fav to IDL
Just saw the Dawn FM album on the wall and subbed haha, good luck on your journey!
he's my goat. thank you!!!
I mean I have a Jordan Davis jersey and love IDL play, loveedddd this video
I got it a year before we drafted Jalen Carter 😅😂
i would cop a jalen carter jersey but as a boys fan thats not happening. maybe if he switches teams down the line lol
Importance of Positions/Front Office 1.) Decent to Good Owner 2.) GM 3.) Head Coach 4.) QB 5.) Defensive Line 6.) O Line 7.) WR 8.) LB 9.) CB 10.) RB 11.) Safety 12.) TE Interesting how importance of position has a lot to do with how that position affects the QB.
i'd honestly even slide WR down a little a great QB and playcaller can make up for it
as someone who aspires to be in the sport content creator scene, you have my sub
thank you bro!! i wish you luck
Good video
thank you!!! <3
