How to produce honeycomb glass dome?
Today, let’s talk about the production process of the honeycomb glass dome. This honeycomb glass house has recently become extremely popular. We have been producing full-glass honeycomb domes since 2020, and now we are introducing an upgraded version.
This upgraded version primarily focuses on three aspects:
Material Options: We offer more choices for the surface covering materials of the honeycomb glass dome. Options include dual-layer hollow glass with a specification of 5+9A+5mm, 18mm thick wood-colored solid panels. This enhances the insulation, soundproofing, and aesthetic appeal of the honeycomb glass dome.
Insulation Layer: We have added RAXTENT's custom 10mm thick insulation layer to the honeycomb glass dome. This insulation is mainly composed of an aluminum foil layer and high-density foam, which features a low thermal conductivity coefficient. It effectively blocks most ultraviolet rays and light, provides thermal insulation, soundproofing, and moisture resistance, prevents water vapor penetration, and is fire-resistant (with a B1 grade for fire retardance). This makes it highly functional for long-term outdoor use.
Window and Door Accessories: We have customized hexagonal glass windows that integrate seamlessly with the dome structure. This not only enhances the aesthetics but also maximizes the opening and closing space of the glass windows, allowing for better air flow. Staying in this glass starry room is very cozy.
Additionally, the frame of the honeycomb glass dome is made from high-strength 6063 T5 aluminum alloy. The production process includes six main steps: cutting, drilling, welding, polishing, powder coating, and coding, followed by standardized packaging for easier assembly upon receipt by domestic and international customers.
The glass for the honeycomb glass dome undergoes several key steps: original sheet cutting, edge grinding, cleaning and drying, high-temperature tempering, assembling spacers, glass bonding, applying two layers of sealing glue, quality inspection, and packaging. This ensures extreme precision in the dimensions of the glass and the frame.

imagine in a freeze/thaw winter climate... *any* water that gets behind the glass will freeze, possibly cracking the glass. that's a *lot* of seams that require perfection to avoid freeze damage. use clear polycarbonate instead?

The Rex Tent like other spaceship style prefabricated modular homes are extremely nice and very affordable for AirBnb but all of them like Nestron have one big drawback and that is no kitchen, I think its culture because all of these spaceship style or capsule design modular homes are built in either Singapore, China, Taiwan or Vietnam! The style is outstanding my only concern is quality of construction? That said if these type of units meet or exceed US government construction standards and regulations, they could dominate the prefabricated affordable modular home market in the United States of America! However even if you are using these as vacation rental units or resort style units in America you must have a complete kitchen or kitchenette or you will not sell a thing! You must have an electric 2 burner cooktop, a medium size sink, a small but tall narrow refrigerator, small freezer and a microwave oven! Only then can you go to the bank with a pickup truck full of money 😅😅! Be warned keep your pricing of a 2&2 or 2&2 700 sqft unit well below $200,000 or else! 😮
