Hi i'm John Wails and moved to Spain some years ago, love the place and can't think of being anywhere but here.
This channel is just to show some of the places local to where I live and hope to give tips on things i have learnt over time.
There are tutorials about VIDEOPAD editor as this is new to me and i hope to pass on things i have learnt as a beginner.

Torrevieja A park you must visit.

La Mata waterfall park is a pleasant place to spend an hour or so to unwind. With a Step waterfall stream about two hundred meters long and woodland all around with lots of seating and picnic tables what could be better. The Beach is a short walk across the dunes and is well worth the visit. If you want to know more about this park and what there is to see and do here in Orihuela Costa Spain yo...

Toller Strand südlich von Alicante. Ich habe mir es mal auf Google Maps angeschaut, so gesehen ist der Strand ja gut,aber es ist ja ganz zu gebaut im Hinterland.

When I use this poligon mask, when a line is not perfectly vertical or horizontal, there's a black line in the cut. It seems instead of shading only the transparency, it also the color to black, so it gets gray in the middle way to complete 0% opacity. Is there a workaround to avoid that?
For some reason, setting the transparency to 0.1 instead of 0 fixes the issue. Glitchy?
Lived in different alicante areas for 5 years , arenelas del sol was the first place I lived and the view of sea every morning was so beautiful it sticks with my till now and I hope to return for holiday soon

Thank you for your comment have just watched your video Mazarron walk and found the Museum trek fascinating. The similarities between there and mining in South Wales just about identical and I know many Spanish and Italians worked the welsh mine in the early nineteen hundreds (One of the reasons there were so many Italian cafes in wales). I grew up as the mines were being closed but the local museums showing the extraction of coal and other minerals with basic tools and exploitation of young children all the way through to the use of air power tools and even the placing of dynamite with long poles are well documented. I must visit Mazarron soon as its only an hour or so away thank you so much for the insight. PS I have subscribed keep well and keep making the video.

I've been in there myself, everything you find in Tesco you'll find in there but it's a bit pricey very much like the Iceland in San Javier

Do you know why in Videopad when I apply the green screen the background turns black? Then if I put a background on the timeline above it sits on top of the video instead of becoming the background. This has not happened to me before, any idea what I am doing wrong?
The first thing i'll ask is have you been successful with a green screen clip before your current project. Also, are you using the eye dropper when you open up the greenscreen effect panel to drag over the colour that you want to remove from the upper timeline clip? This video I made some time ago maybe of help th-cam.com/video/xRAcD9OSD0M/w-d-xo.html Hope some of this made sense let me know how you get on if this does not work I will try and think of something else. Thank you for your interest.
