They need to repair it but most places just don’t give a sh*t unfortunately.
Apparently the click startup is caused by a relay according to NCHLT. This stainless steel cover is equally as good as the graphite cover in my opinion.
I agree the stainless looks nice, however for me I like the plain white, as it will blend into almost any toilet.
TKE Synergy would do better, but it's good!

The main issue with this theory is the fact that quite a few of them go over 52 in their second half of those 4 digit numbers. So that makes me think that cannot be weeks. Also when looking through some older catalogues, these pifcos didn't make an appearance until the later 80s (around 1988/1989 time). I did have a little theory it was a serial number but with the 3 that I own that have this number. It really doesn't add up at all
