    Been on medication 8 pills a day for 6 years now, depression and generalized anxiety. I cannot focus on anything my attention and restlessness have ended up I mental hospital 2 times. My body and mind are so tired of that I even cannot follow a normal conversation. I think this could take my life in the end because I cannot cope for so long anymore.

      My heart goes out to you and I hope you can take some small steps mentioned in my videos to begin to free yourself from what can feel like anxiety madness. You have to be incredibly strong to get this far for so long. Your ego may want to give up but I promise you that your true self knows you can continue to experience freedom.

      I have been anxiety free for a long time and help others do the same. You have a powerful tool there Tim but don't put all your eggs in one basket to heal anxiety, it needs a holistic approach and we should not be trying to turn of the messenger asking for change.

    I did try talking therapy, it did not work for me, in fact I was more stressed, doing it over the phone, I was on medication but stopping taking them, my anxiety has not gone, but I can manage it on a daily basis, I've had panic attacks, as well, but don't get them now, the worst symptom I had was not getting a full breath, that's how mine started

    thanks for the good advice, instantly remembering abc now. the idea is that physical feeling can happen but how you react at the beginning of it - AT wave 1 - is important. because i've built up so many different things to be 'concerned' about it just means I have more things to abc at wave 1. if that makes sense (gerd issues, tmj, adrenaline etc).

    Hi. I have had deppression on and off most of my life . I am a recovering addict and alcoholic now for over 40 years, which i am very proud of. About 2 months ago i came off the antidepressants. Because of the side effects. Since then my two older brothers have died, and last Sat. my truck got stolen lol, and some financial challenges. Anyway i feel myself returning to depression slowly. The old familiar crappy thoughts creeping in again. I agree with you 100 persent about our minds, that it tells us lies, and makes up stories. I often think , what if i never had these thoughts, stories. What if i never compared , or judged myself, ever. Right now i am fighting these thoughts to stop, trying to change them and trying to tell myself the real story. That really there is nothing really wrong right now. That is a good idea of picturing myself how i really am , mostly happy and free. Then having fun working towards that. If i stop myself from becoming depressed this time without taking anti depressants it will be the first, but i think i have a chance because i know these thoughts are lies. I know i am a powerful being, i just have to bring that to the forefront. I am not my thoughts, Thoughts are just that...... thoughts. They can do great things, or they can bring down the kingdom. I think it comes down to the ones we decide to give our energy to. the ones to feed. I am tired of feeding the wrong ones. It is time in my life that i give energy to the ones that lift me, like being carried down a summers path. This time i have amunition, and ideas i can use to help myself . Thanks to people like you, and all the people who comment on this video and others . Sharing with each other to help our fellow human beings. In a few moths i will come back here and do a update, no matter which way it goes............Thank you..........a friend from Canada.

      You can slow down your mind and feel at peace. There are moments of stillness which often come with mindfulness where you can experience no thoughts, just being. Its absolutely wonderful

    Thank you for this video. The hand over the heart exercise. Damn near burst into tears. Just felt a well of emotion building up. I don't think I have ever told myself (or ever even thought to tell myself) "I love you."

    a lot of your videos have helped me - and the only one i'm still kinda stuck on is the adrenaline rushes - when i list that as a 'lie' that they will go on forever etc it's hard to disprove it on my list, if I don't know how to fix it. i know 'fix' ... but yeah, it waking me up at night and being around sometimes during the day - it feels like something harder to disprove on my list. gonna be trying more metoporol (already take it) but yeah...not sure on that point. if something is on the list like TMJ it's easier to be like - ok that wont kill me, isnt dangerous. but adrenaline rushes are tougher. thoughts? (anyone)

      also the chest ache/pressure thing we get (heart was checked out and given approval it was good) also difficult to write something down and say 'thats fine' - when it can linger and really bother me

      @@Mindsetchangeuk it's basically 3 main things, the adrenaline rush, the tmj 'wanting to clench' feeling and the chest ache/back of chest ache feeling. so its just tough when the physical things show up, and stay. some could be gerd etc - but the physical make it hard to not listen to the netflix. anywho - excited about the video!

    Oh my goodness 😢ive had 3 months of crippling anxiety then depression have had to up my setraline think my dads dementia diagnosis triggered me.Felt so ill in the mind and physically inside my chest , churning stomach 😢 ive had 3 months of torture .

    For me it’s really hard to get something done that seems so hard before a dead line like a whole week away. And my anxiety is thru the roof. And even when I’m meditating my whole chest is just hurting even though I am breathing.

      @@noracoyle4988 I don’t but you want to focus on a Mediterranean style diet, whole foods, much less UPFs and hydrate properly with water. Just keep to the basics. As for your anxiety, there’s a message there to change course. What is anxiety asking you to change to enhance your life quality?
