I just bought a place in Topsail Reef on New River Inlet. Can you please do a video of things "new residents" need to know? For example, I was paying for parkomg and then found out its free for resodents! 🎉

If it'd not fishing, I'm out.

Good video Tanner. We've been going to Topsail Beach every year for 35-40 years. We try to go 2-3 times a year. We love the south end. We normally pick up groceries in Surf City on the way in and try to cook as much as possible. But we don't mind going to Surf City if we need to. At some point during each trip we have to go to Max's Pizza. It's one of our favorite places to eat. And the beaches at Topsail Beach aren't usually as crowded as other parts of the island.

Everything is withing walking distance if you are close enough!

My topsail dislikes: Extreme heat Humidity Sand Home prices Hurricanes Salt eats everything on the house But…it’s worth it to see the wife smile. No sewer in topsail beach is sucky too.

My niece took me to Topsail in this past April and I loved it it is a good place to go and a lot of shells and just great

Spent the last 10 days there. Always a good time. Trading post. Beach shop bar and grill. Mini golf. The ice cream place under the skate rink. 10/10.

Awesome video! Clamming is a super easy, fun way of introducing new people to foraging for their own food. You actually do not need a fishing license to harvest clams recreationally in North Carolina (but be sure to check the DMF’s website to ensure the area you want to clam isn’t closed).

We had the chance to buy a double lot near the bridge for $350,000 to years ago. We passed on it. Now it has those two $1.25m houses that share a pool. My wife doesn’t let me live it down. Property maintenance is no joke on the island. The salt eats everything. The wind gets the roofs. Grest video as always brother.

Hey do you know where to rent a boat there? I’ve been coming there for 20 literally years and always rented jet skis. I know there is a boat rental spot on the mainland side where the old bridge was in surf city. Thanks brother.

Good video Tanner. When we come down to visit we order online from the Wal Mart Market and schedule pickup for when we arrive. It's real convenient and saves time. If Wal Mart is out of anything we ordered we'll pick it up at Food Lion. Then we head on over to Topsail Beach. We've also picked up some things from the IGA. I like the IGA and the people there are very friendly and helpful.

Topsail Beach is my favorite part of the island. Quiet and relaxing but and just a short drive to Surf City. Enjoying your videos, new subscriber now.

Been to the Salty Turtle before when visiting Topsail Beach. Had no idea all the other businesses were back there. Going to have to try some of them out. We also come during the off season, fall and winter, hope some of those places are open then. Great looking CJ5 by the way.

We’ve gone to Topsail since the late 80’s and it’s crazy how the finds have changed in size and quantity. My time on the beach is for the hunt alone!! Cool to see others do the same!! Thanks for sharing!

This brings back memories.l used to cast a net in a little estuary called Broad Creek near Swansboro North Carolina.l fished a good Pier in Topsail once.l think it was called The Jolly Roger.
