you are right my friend it was so glorious I had to speed it up to 1.5x speed to get some music in there ( 17 odd mins original video ). If I find myself in a new corp / alliance I may start doing this sort of play style again.

there was some custom game settings aswell but think this was just the ram usage of the game ( set it to 1/2 your total ram ). Believe it was something in the SP_config.cfg file like sys_MB.

FPS set 120+ Full screen recording ( 1024 x 768 / 1280 x 1024 ) one of those resolutions loop buffer 60 seconds split movie every 4 Gig These are my fraps settings for todays standards apart from the resolution. Note: your system specs must exceed the game requirements for whatever you are paying.

This video reminds me of Battlestar Galactica. Now I'm double-struck by nostalgia for Battlestar Galatica and Homeworld.

PDS mod stands for Point Defense system most ships have flak turrets or anti missile turret.. well there is a lot in PDS and and its about a future war betweeen the Higararens and VAygr nwith there advanced fleets... Also there are a lot of vids for PDS on youtube go check that out .

to uploader hi there i might have a few pds mods myself on my old hardrive i certainly have pds11 and maybe some more on old drives and old discs... i guess i can look them up and upload them to a filesitesometime these months cheers.....

I get the same issue. TH-cam app on my (modern) Android handset. "The content owner has not made this video available on mobile". 4 of the 81 videos on my Favorites list show this behavior. A little searching suggests this may be because of the copyrighted music used, and therefore outside your control. :(

This in game footage is from EVE Online the ship I am flying is an amar carrier ( logistical ship ) called an archon its main role is to heal friendly ships. Being a long term logistics pilot I do not loose a single ship when I enter the battle.

Non of the above the issue was the second cyno was to cover groung back towards the gate instead he lights it less than 10k away from me ( the first triage ) when the cyno should have been some 46k away. That was the plan befor engaging anyway haha

Was the issue that the BS drifted out of rep range, or that you entered triage early and couldn't stay with the fleet? It's hard to tell without the tac-overlay.

Due to Real life been unable to validate files but another keen HW2 player beat me to it and the report is that the mod is working and proper thanks TheKiller156. Only update I can add is DON'T FORGET the target of the shortcut needs to be edited properly. "So again your TARGET on the icon you use to launch the game should read something like this: "C:\Program Files(x86)\Sierra\Homeworld2\Bin\Release\Homeworld2.exe"(SPACEHERE)-overrideBigFile" So just add a space then paste -overrideBigFile

Any updates on your findings? Also what patch should we be using with what mod. Last time I tried using this mod it just flat out didn't work. The menu said the mod was installed, but ingame nothing was different. It was all vanilla.

@somedude221 I will endevour to find this version of the mod I have lots of hard copys of old backups that I have yet to go through. Watch the description for an update and possible download.

I really, really preferred these older PDS versions to the latest ones. The latest ones just got too hectic and ion beam-crazy for my liking. Does anyone know where I can still get the old versions? The PDS website doesn't exist anymore :(
