Angels..
Of course they burnt the tapes & wiped the scoreboards.
Wow! Thanks for posting this. Great interview, with lots of new info that has never before been revealed about that practice/scrimmage. My feeling is that if Jordan played more that day, the college kids probably would not have won. The Dream Team is my team for the ages... bar none.
One must put an * next to Christian Laettner
not full real match just like practice ... plus remember when MJordan colege olympic team played so many diff NBA mixed teams they win 8 Nil over NBA ...this is the kost embaressing 1984 LA olympics practice not this
Digital camera 1992 ?
It was by design to lose...
Chuck Daly threw the game
Yup. If he didn't throw the game, he would have put in Michael Jordan for the full game. He knows full well how deadly Michael Jordan was to his Pistons.
Zack Hample
“Our guys went out there…” “Our kids…” No bias there.
Shaq wasn’t on the s egg left team, either. Fans don’t know this.
@Anthony-er8lmI didn’t think traveling was invented until Lebron got to the League….😁
This is a delight!

Tom in Salem Well done you guys. Long overdue. I'm not a St. John's prognosticator when I've only seen 2 of the players preseason expectations from me. The point is gonna be an issue all season, much more than a lack of size. They played a huge Utah team extremely well. NTS was a problem that I never foresaw, only winning by 1. Dayton is 8-2 with an. NET of #29. That should not be considered a bad loss at all. Still love the enthusiasm you guys bring because Frank will tell you, I'm a St. John's pessimist after years of disappointment. Forgot to mention, this show is daily, correct?
Hey guys, excellent discussion and update so far. Yes, BC and DAYTON were a lesson in how a few mistakes can contribute to a loss. Michigan was an early big game that showed a new team trying to get organized. I think they are really missing RJ Luis who had 14 points in 16 minutes plus his ball handling. Big East Season starts tomorrow and I think Coach P has given many players some time thanks to our depth which will help us win the important games ahead. I will predict an upset at UCONN which will give the team confidence…GO RED STORM😎 30:01
Thanks Dave and Coach Walsh for not only this great podcast, but also such a real, valuable story that is useful for many. Thanks for bringing it up and keep up the great work, Dave!
Thanks for the great, consistent content!!
❤❤
Being a 60 year fan of St. John’s Basketball, and a proud graduate over 51 years ago, I have to say that the the Team we have for the last few years of President Father Shanley and Mike Cragg A.D. is one of the best in the country. And it is definitely the best in many decades at St. Johns. And having Coach Rick bring his expertise and success to SJU is what we have been looking forward to for some time. With Legendary Coach Carnesecca still able to enjoy attending games, we all look forward to the success of this great group of student athletes for the 23-24 season.
this is why coach Pop is a great coach
Good info........facts
Hope he sticks with the Spurs! This guy can play!
'PromoSM' 🤤
