9:41 if your bladder constantly hurt and your life was confined to a toilet and it is closing in on you to the point you can say that yes your alive but you don't have a life. The pain not being adressed because of the national initiative to lower opiates is essentially causing the hastening of end stage bladder and suicides. It is terrifying to have horrible severe constant ic symptoms with small bladder capacity. Now look at the quality of life, it feels insulting to say we are catastrophasizing when its the flipping reality. Mabe doctors and other people who don't truly know the reality of interstitial cystitis just aren't comfortable with the truth because it is so dismissal. My doctor took my pain medication and is now taking diazapam with no consideration of what this has done to my life. I have 2 diazapam left and then I get to find out how much more damage can be done to me. As it is my capacity has shrunk completely and I drip on the toilet. Doctors are so mean they think its pcycomatic so essentially its all my own fault anyway. Never mind my symptoms started after a surgical accident in their hospital. We suffer greatly and to be honest Im glad my pain meds were taken because before that I didn't have the right to cancel appointments or procedures set by my doctor and felt like I couldn't say no. I felt that I had no autonomy. It was very scary. Doctors come up with all sorts of things they expect and monitor just because they are all fearful of the dea, all of which made me feel frightened and persecuted. Theres an icy chill and resentment when they have to prescribe pain meds. Clinical decions on treating pain are not based on clinical or actual medical need but based off of scores the patients can't even dispute. Prescription drug monitoring dsta base programing gives a score that means nothing because it just asumes that if more than one person at an address has pain meds they are doctor shopping! Its funny how it seems like people are talking like they are actually trying to help medicine and find treatments when doctors are beginning brainwashed into doing the job of law enforcement. Im at the end of my rope. All I needed were the tools to manage daily life. Yes that means opiate therapy with a benzo! Not only have I went from being employed full time to unemployed and trapped on my toilet. I made it a year after pain meds taken but now my symptoms have been unmanageable and progressing to include pain in genital areas. I feel hopeless and giving up because this is insanity. I am resilience I am strong I don't quite. Or I never would of made it this far. I want my life and I am getting ready for a fight. A fight for my human rights. Hospitals overstep.
I can't even try another procedures because having pain meds is what made it possible for me to fight this stupid condition. If I found a way to bring myself up and have a job first time I'm my life for over 6 years I think what I was doing was right. What happened to live and let live and respecting a paitents autonomy. You cant force me to take suboxone. I don't know if it is born out of some morality or what why it's so frowned on that a person may need a stimulant opioid and benzo. Look at the alternative. I'm ashamed of what I have seen change in healthcare and how patients are being treated. Mabe that's why there's more combativeness. The doctors and patients been pitted on eachother. They need to shut the three word organizations down!
Enjoyed your lecture, can you comment on stone analysis
Thank you for the great summary of this complicated condition!
has anyone ever heard about dr lonnie herman from usa?he said in his youtube channel that he can cure or heal IC...I'm not sure about that doctor but he sounds promising...but I was wondering about his youtube channel that the views and the subscribers hasn't too much...I mean if he really is a good doctor that can heal or cure IC,it must be already wide spreaded well known in america and all over the world too...but why the viewers and the subscribers in his youtube channel just like that amount?it just doesn't make sense at all for me
Nice to see empire back ❤
