    ghs fastfret is mineral oil+perfume. so i just use johnsons baby oil, the pink one. it smells the same, works exactly as well as fastfret, protects and cleans strings the same way. i did the math, it's 1000x cheaper. yes, 1000 times cheaper. i don't need the applicator or the crappy little cloth. microfibre towels are reusable. i put baby oil in a little pump bottle, wrap the bottle in a rag and keep it in the case.

I wanted to meet to buyer in erson to avoid to ship it. I selected the most trustable buyer, someone polite and someone willing to play guitar. This guitar has electronics and some buyers are scared about the life duration on the guitar.

      Hi ! I don't know the Roland GR55. I browsed it on the web and I found that this device has a guitar input and a stereo phones output. So this is possible to do it with your device. But look at the very first comment under the video : a youtuber posted a comment with a much better solution. Basically you will need a cable or adapter 1 TRS mini jack to 2x TRS mini jack at a dollar store. This adapter duplicates the signal from 1 to 2 connectors. Plug the guitar into the Trio guitar IN. Plug Trio FX send to the GR55 guitar IN Plug the GR55 audio OUT into the Trio FX return Plug the GR55 phones OUT into the adapter. Plug the Trio phones out into the adapter. Plug your headphones (or stereo monitors or else) into the adapter. Trust me, this youtuber has a great idea because it works.

      Wenge must be combined with woods such as walnut and cherry, mahagony also, those have great mids and quite alot of bass. From what I know wenge is supposed to have a good bass, but no mids. It is a very percussive material, that's why modern metal players love to use wenge necks. Putting a maple fingerboard on that neck could improve the situation.

      Hi ! My hands are sweating a lot when i play guitar. So the strings are rusty quickly : after 1 month or so they are completely dead, rusty. They are then eating the frets ! Now after each playing session, i clean the strings with the dunlop product. I can see that the product is removing some rust / dark and brown dust from the strings. The strings are also a little bit with oil. After cleaning, they are not like new. They are still getting dark but not rusty. To me, they are now playable for 2 to 3 months. So yes for me this product is a way to have the string 2x to 3x longer.

      Ok, i have watched those videos. Video1 about playing guitar : 1. Tune the guitar. Yes I will pay attention to that. 2. 'Pushing too hard the strings on the fretboard while fretting'. Definitely this is one of my issues. I learned without a teacher and this is a bad habit to push too hard the strings. I will work on it 3. Setup of the guitar. As i push the strings too hard, i am eating the frets and a setup is now needed to have a good playability. Video 2 about mixing: 4. EQ is important. I will try to add one in my multieffect patches. Other advices are not relevant for me today. I record from my multieffect directly into my laptop. No audio interface. My laptop is from 2009, i got it broken from a trash and i repaired it. It runs on a light Linux environment. I record using Audacity and cannot run complex DAW. In fact i play music with my guitar and I do not want to play with a DAW. So fine tuning a sound with a keyboard and mouse in a DAW is not really possible with my current setup and it is not my goal for now. Thanks for the videos, i have 4 improvement actions to work on.

ASIO allows the software to bypass Windows Audio and gives direct communication to the hardware. This is the preferred driver mode for all professional recording and audio applications. Because of the direct communication between the hardware and the software, device sharing between multiple applications is severely limited or not allowed. I wanted to battery power the Trio Plus and it is possible, but you need to bear in mind that it is a real power hog. I connected a large-capacity USB powerbank to a 5V to 9V step-up converter that in theory could handle 800 mA (the current draw of the Trio Plus) bought online but I very quickly fried the converter. I managed to get my setup to work by powering the Trio Plus through TWO converters. Make sure that any converters or wall wart that you use can supply a total of at least 1000 mA (constant current, not peak current). It's useful if you can find converters with a digital display to monitor what current and/or power is going through them. Any guitar effect external 9 volt PSU with a standard centre-negative connector will work with the Trio Plus provided it can supply at least 1000 mA.

    I had the same pb in 2020 with these 2 great gears (zoom g3xn and Trio+). I found an easy solution : using stereo headphone cables and a jack splitter. Because the splitter works both way, you can receive your stereo informations from both gears in your favorite headphones. You can mix the levels from the Zoom and the Trio + (which has specific knobs level for guitar, bass and drums) and you are good, ready to use the best options of the two devices without any DIY box ... and it'pretty cheap ! Now i am using a little mixer si i can add my singer (or pretend to be) voice into the mix in my headphone or speaker.

      I am very interrested by this solution. But i don't understand how it works. The solution shall work when we teach the trio, when we record in the looper, and when we play along with the trio. Could you please describe it with more details ? And the jack splitter, is it 1 stereo to 2 mono, splitting the left and right ? Or is it a 1 stereo to 2 same stereo (like a duplicate) ? I am excited by your solution. Looking forward to having more details. Thank you.

    • @user-cb1te6ci2f
      @user-cb1te6ci2f ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GuitarMusicCapsule OK, it is pretty simple. From the diagram at 0:50 in the video : instead of using the Out/L stereo from the ZOOM into the FX return of the Trio+, use the Out/R from the Zoom : it is mono but Trio+ is as well = no change in the treatment of the FX loop for the Trio+. Then the out/left stereo is free for a headphone option with a great sound. Any common headphone splitter has 2 female jack sockets and 1 one male jack socket. The sound coming in the male socket will be heard in the 2 female sockets (traditional use). But the sound that is feeding one of the female jack socket will also be heard in the other one. This is why i said it is working both ways : you can listen to one audio source with 2 headphones, but you can also add 2 audio sources to be heard by 1 headphone. Here is the devices you will need (cheap and easy to find on the net or at your local supermarket) - 1 stereo headphone splitter - 1 extention stereo male/male cable - 1 adapter 6,3/3,5 mm stereo jack Here are the pluging instructions : - Plug the male jack socket of the headphone splitter in the headphone out of the Trio+ . - Plug the extension stereo cable in the out/left stereo of the ZOOM with the 6,3/3,5 mm adapter stereo jack, then plug the other side of the cable into one of the female sockets of the headphone splitter already plugged into the Trio+. - Plug your favorite headphone in the other female socket of the headphone splitter. THERE YOU ARE !! ready to play with the best options and sounds you can get from the Trio+ and the Zoom, with a very cheap solution. The only negative point is that you'll have a little decrease of the volume in your headphones, but it is easy to treat by adjusting the sound level from both gears. Of course this method won't improve the sound of your guitar coming from the Trio+ (mono as always) but the sound you'll have from the zoom will be great as you play, and you can teach, record loop on the fly without using any other equipment. Advice : instead of using your headphone, you can also use the same method to plug into any standard home sounding equipment : playing a long time with headphones can be tiring. Hope all of these informations are understandable. Have fun !

      Wow this is great, I tested it and it works perfectly! Thank you very much for this brillant idea! I changed my config recrntly, I have delay/reverb effects after the Trio. So i don't have this mono issue. Anyway, thank you for this hint.

    Cool!!..🤨But question?? Do you NOW have a configuration for the Amp /Mixer Outputs (or Headphones output from the Trio+ ) ..to simulate Stereo for PA use? Note: The Headphone output impedance is for just that,🎧..so,..the sound quality isn’t as good as the main ones. So do you have another box to get Stereo (Amp/ Mix pseudo) ⁉️🥹

    • @GuitarMusicCapsule
      @GuitarMusicCapsule ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi , i have now another configuration : Multieffect-> Trio Plus -> another Multieffect. The second multieffect has stereo effects. So it is possible to avoid completely the use of headphones output and use the multieffect stereo output to PA. But I haven't tried it a PA, so cannot tell if it really works. Hello, this is with a long press on the part button. For example, if part 2 button is selected (= solid bright green), long press on part 2 will make it blink (= drumstick count enabled). Then press footswitch Band and it will start the music with the drumstick count before. I own the external footswitch. This feature is done with long press on middle footswitch then.
