This Sunday was a change-and-wash reset day, perfect for refreshing the family room. I took the time to wash and change the sofa covers, cushion covers, and curtains. I decided to go with floral curtains this time for a bit of a change. With these colorful floral curtains, I made a few other budget-friendly updates around my family room and other areas of the house. As I mentioned in my house tour video, I love moving the same items to different areas often, and these little updates add a cozy, luxurious feel to my home without a big expense.
I also created a DIY cake stand to perfectly match my vision, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The flowers from my container garden are adding so much life-especially the tiger lilies that I grow from the seeds, which are truly taking my home to the next level.
