    Hi Kerwin, Tanya, Maceo and Keith, how are you? It's so cool that you got to speak with S.T. and were able to speak with her in the past :). I'm happy for you both :). That's really awesome that S.T. works with animals :) She brings a cool background to her books too :). That's so cool how she combined her knowledge of animals and used animals that were similar to Star Wars creatures for the book :). Rebels is rad. Purrgils are great! I love them. It was great to see them in Ahsoka and Rebels :D. They're cool creatures. A friend of mine has the book :). I want to read it. It looks amazing :). The Gorax look awesome!! I want to learn about them :). I'd love to read the book :). S.T. brings a lot of enthusiasm and positive energy to the interview and I can tell that she's brought a lot of joy and passion to the book as well :). She rocks :). That's great that the conclusion is a love letter to the environment and nature :). Nature and the environment are invaluable. We cannot take them for granted. Hehe I don't remember much from the Book of Boba Fett either. I don't remember the beast, but it looks really cool! I've only seen the first season of Clone Wars and a bit of the 2nd one. I need to watch the rest. I'm so behind. Rebels is awesome. I really like it :). It's one that I binged and had fun watching :). I think it was the World Between Worlds in Ahsoka. But, you're correct, I don't think they mentioned the location. Yep :) Hayden had a wonderful performance in Ahsoka :). It would be awesome if Tanya could write a book with S.T. Bende! I'd read it :D. Tanya, I'm not sure if you're published, but if you are, I'd like to read your book :). I agree. S.T. would be a wonderful teacher. :) I haven't met S.T. but she seemed so kind and patient in the interview. She also has a lot of positive energy and I think she'd be a great teacher! :) Fantastic interview :) Take care! Have a nice one, everybody :]. :D.

    Another great episode! I'm with you on this one Kerwin, it is very interesting to see the dynamic between Crosshair and Omega. Loving it so far. Also, I think the woman at the desk who demanded the credits mentioned something like 'you're lucky I dont charge you extra for the creature" relating to Batcher. Thank you all again for doing episode run down for season 3. Its turning out to be my favorite season so far.

    Happy belated birthday! We now have a statue of the supervisor with no face, a pirate who plundered At-Attin whose face is obscured and a supervisor on At-Attin that nobody has seen yet... chances are that this is the same person or an android/clone version of him.

    SO HAPPY to be back with you guys for Bad Batch run down. A friend got me a Disney+ giftcard so I was finally able to get started with Bad Batch (yes I'm behind). I REALLY enjoyed the first few episodes of season 3. I agree with what Kerwin pointed out, the TONE of the show is quite different but, I feel, exceptionally well done. The monotony, the repetition, the water dripping again and again. How broken Crosshair looked and how much Omega had to keep trying to convince him that escape was possible. I'm very excited to continue on with the season and then attempt to catch up with Skeleton Crew (and hear the thoughts from the best SW podcasters in the biz, YOU!) Thank you again for all you are doing and sharing with the fandom and the fun conversations you are sharing. You are really bringing light to a challenging world. As I heard in an NPR chat with poet Nikki Giovanni (RIP) its best to pray for the grace to "do your duty" not for your circumstances to magically change. You are all doing such great work and offering uplifting, thoughtful, insightful and funny content. Appreciate you!

    Hi Kerwin! I'm sorry that I wasn't able to join the livestream (Sundays are getting pretty busy for me). The way that the Supervisor reacted is so suspicious. I am curious about them. I too think there's a chance that the actor for them is a major celebrity. Wow, I didn't know that Alfred Molina voiced Jod's crewmate. He did a great job. I didn't know At-Attin was stated so many times. I agree, it is quite significant :). I should've paid more attention. I didn't see the life monitor. It makes sense that it could help her quickly analyze and assess things she faces. I too hope KB is all right. Kh’ymm is rad :). At-Attin is interesting and I'm intrigued. It surprised me for a few moments that the war was unknown at At-Attin. But, then I thought about how they are isolated and information is withheld, so it isn't surprising. I want to learn more about the planet. Yes. Jod has put the kids in danger. He asked them to do a lot of dangerous things, I concur. I am glad that the Republic pilot did not go after and try to shoot the ship down. The restraint is key and he made the right choice. I like Skeleton Crew so far. It's a bit slow. Nonetheless, I like it :) I am excited to see more. I'm stoked for the review :) Have a great day. Take care, Kerwin, Tanya, Keith, and Maceo :) :).

Good question, Kerwin! It's awesome that they watched ET, Goonies, and Back to the Future. The 80s had great films. LOL "Is that a kid behind you?" It's so cool that they were excited to see Keith! :) Haha it's awesome that Keith got to ask a question to them. There are a bunch of rad creatures and characters in Star Wars - I totally agree :). Hey Keith and Kerwin! Marvelous intro :). When did you begin using it? It's wonderful! Kudos, Yarde family :). I think it's great that they're not looking down on kids. If they did, I think it'd lead to poor storytelling. It's cool hearing the showrunners' responses. Ketih asked a good question. I'm glad you both are liking the show so far :) (I'm assuming that you have seen a few episodes, and not the whole season (based on how Keith said that you both are liking the episodes)). Makes sense to have the show occur during the early New Republic days. I agree, it is a chaotic period. Good point that the New Republic doesn't have full control of the galaxy yet. It's unstable. I'm stoked to watch the show - it has a great backdrop and the story sounds awesome. Excellent question, Kerwin. I can't imagine how long the audition process was. Patience is def. key. Cool video :) Great interview!

    At the 2:44 mark, you make a great point about the audience being invested in characters that are on screen. If they would’ve shown what happened on Brennock in the first episode, we would understand this series, a little bit better and our reaction to Kelnacca’s death, would’ve felt more tragic and it would’ve had a bigger impact at least to me in episode four. Back in episode one when we were introduced to Carrie Ann Moss character, Jedi Master Indara, I thought she was gonna be the lead in the show and then not even 10 minutes later she’s dead. I jumped off my couch and said you killed off the most recognized character on your show in the first 10 minutes. The actor that’s well known for her stunt work in the matrix and other shows you kill her off? That’s when I knew something was off about the show. Then in the flashback sequences, we get to see her character and she really didn’t do anything wrong to those witches on Brendok. The issue I had with The Acolyte is the writing of the show in the order it was presented to us. I don’t have a problem with any of the actors or actresses in the show because they had to do the best they could with what they had to work with. But I just thought the writing could be better and the story told just a little bit better so we the audience could understand. Like what was the purpose of killing those four Jedis and not to use a weapon. That was never explained. I know Leslie Headland wrote the show in mind for a season two but we’re not getting a season two into me. there are a lot of loose ends. I’d like to see tied up either in an animated series or a comic book at least. I need the answer to why Senator Rayencourt is hell-bent on investigating the Jedi order. What happens or who was he influenced by the call for this investigation? The Darth Plagueis question. How is he connected to these events or how is his corporation affected to these events? Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh, what about her dark past when she tried to kill the Sith warrior Qimir, her old Padawan learner. Plus how come they don’t come across some of her backstory from the high Republic like she was the youngest of the humanoids to become a Jedi at the age of 14 and she was born in 248 BBY. Also, what connection does Jedi Grandmaster Yoda have to do with all of these events I mentioned above? I thought season one left me with more questions than answers. So after reading this, do you agree with me that these questions need to be answered or in your opinion, do you want Lucasfilm to leave it alone and act like it’s not canon. Also, what did you think about my comments?

    • @fathersongalaxy
      @fathersongalaxy 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Your analysis is spot on. Yes, questions are unanswered and they can be resolved in books and comics. No need for Season 2 in our opinion. Great comments, thank you!

Its been a long while but I wanted to share that this episode is another incredible example of your heart and generosity and why you are so needed in our fandom. I have not seen any of Acolyte (yet) but I truly appreciated this honest discussion that also, does not take anything away from the series. It takes a whole lot of wisdom to be able to say "It was not for me" without any malicious comments. Truly appreciate that. I also LOVE that you took a positive spin here and turned around what could have been a discussion about what you dont like and instead posed a great question: "If we were in charge of Lucasfilm, what would we make or green light?" GREAT way to look at it. And I appreciated the tribute to James Earl Jones. I have not seen Empire of Dreams but certainly look forward to watching it, since it comes recommended from one of my favorite voices in the SW fandom galaxy, Kerwin! Had to stop around 34 minutes in. Young Jedi Knights was a 14 book YA series that started in 1995 through 1998. Jedi Apprentice and The Last of Jedi series could also easily fall under YA or at least MG. YA was not new with Disney, though they may have wanted a new category for it.

    Great interview! Thanks for giving us this special look into Billy Dee. I loved learning about the importance he places on being eclectic and the focus on always incorporating (versus excluding) more nuance into his work. This made my week 😊

    Hey guys :) Awesome question, Keith. It would've been cool if they got to choose who they got to play. That's hilarious how one friend confused Tony for Gaten. Haha Glad they had fun :) :). Nice question as always. Kudos :) Full of Sith is a fantastic podcast name :D. Sounds like they balanced out light and dark parts well :). Hehe cool that it references much of the Star Wars universe and stories. Great video. Kudos. Have a fantastic weekend!

    your boy knows what he's talking about. I couldn't even invest enough attention or care to pick up on as many things as he did and i watched the whole thing.

    Very cool! Haha good question. I wish they kept the Poe Dameron part. Best parker. LOL. That is rad. They should post a deleted scene video (Disney should). Glad you got to interview the cast and crew for Lego Star Wars (I need to watch the video you shared last night).
