@@brucemalloy334 Maybe you can look into either buying or building a hardtop gazebo and bolt it to your platform. It’ll look nice as well

@@assassa1n I used to have a canopy. Most people purchase non-commercial canopies that cannot withstand even mild wind. I upgraded to a soft top gazebo that wasn't much of an upgrade at all, so I anchored it with a series of stainless steel cables, clamps, thimbles, and U-bolts; it is holding up just fine with winds up to 17 mph, but I pull the shades back around 9mph to let the wind pass through freely

@@assassa1n The canopy only lasts a couple months from the sun constantly hitting it as well as rain and other things. I have one right now but i’m looking to build a roof cover for everything.

Thanks for watching my video, the stain I used on the wood is a transparent waterproofing finish penetrating oil clear color. The brand is BEHR premium, I picked it up from a local Home Depot
