Yeah just see where it lands/ends on. It’s okay if it does that, that’s the pitch env giving it its punch.
Also you can detune in Cents CT +,- 50

I do this with all my bass and you run through a pitch vst and 9/10 says its in a different key.

I thought I had all my mixes figured out until I heard them through an actual PA at work and it all sounded horrible. I was like, "Aha! 20hz!" I remembered this from a deadmau5 interview where this exact point was made. Inaudible to the human ear unless you're playing through a PA..

ok, but can you explain why is auto filter good? You can you also low pass filter in EQ8 for example, and achieve the same. What's the difference?
They are very similar and can achieve similar things. However, Auto Filter tends to be used more as an "effect" to filter out sounds, add movement and interest in a rather quick fashion. It's important to note that Auto filter has a built in LFO whereas EQ8 doesn't. EQ8 is designed for tonal and surgical balance in mix. It has 8 filter bands whereas Auto filter has 4. One is not better than the other--each has it's own limitations and unique properties.

you're welcome! ah this is a great question! i'm not sure if the Utility will keep the mix cut below 120hz once you start introducing width. I will experiment with this and report back or if you try it let me know what you find too!
