Just combined 7 acres of beans. Drum jammed 6 times but eventually finished. Back at the yard the yard bin auger jammed with a full bin! Do beans need a special auger or is mine too knackered to cope?
The 7720 is probably the best combine JD ever made, it fixed most of the problems with the 4420 and has just enough gizmos to be useful without having to call out a service tech on a field call when something electronic breaks and has to be replaced by a 'certified' technician.
Wow, that's a beautiful machine you got! Don't see them much anymore...first combine I ever ran was a 1982 7720. Worked on a farm then that did lots of custom harvesting locally. Ran it for two years before I got a brand new 9500 to run. Was always sentimentality attached to the old girl tho...give anything to spend time in that seat again.
I think you’re the best machine for beans chrome for week for everything and operator of this machine when I starting work 13 years old to the present
