I think age matters. The guy is 73. Will he have the team winning in 1 season? Probably not. Is he going to want to coach when he’s 78? I doubt it. So why not get a guy who’s younger and if successful, can stay with the team for a decade or better.

I saw a crazy stat that said he's only played in like 14 percent of games since he signed with the bulls back in 2021 which is insane and shows the dudes never available and reliable. Rumors from the media and his father were saying he'd join the hornets to help out his little brother which doesn't seem like a bad idea because he'd be happy being with his brother and the bulls could land a ton of draft picks that the hornets have. As a NBA fan I feel like the bulls need to start over and rebuild from scratch maybe use matas colby josh etc as some of the centerpieces with this rebuild.

Using ranked wins as were they ranked when they beat that team is stupid because things change. If we use the logic of its a ranked win if they were ranked when they beat them then Georgia Tech and Boston College have top 10 wins vs FSU even though FSU is terrible, if we use that logic then Texas has a top 10 road win at Michigan even though Michigan is 7-5.

Thomas Brown is actually a solid up and comer. Been coaching for nearing two decades, starting in 2011. Nine years on the college circuit working his way up, fought up to assistant head coach with the Rams, did a year as OC for the Panthers till he landed here. He has a lot of potential, and already has a ton of respect from the players. Sure sounds like a leader of men to me. We can always go for a "proven head coach" who has done the job before, but if they're available for the job, they did something to loose their job somewhere else. We don't need lateral moves, we need vertical ones. Thomas Brown is on a vertical trajectory. The only other name worth considering in my opinion is Ben Johnson, and he is pretty much in the same boat as Brown. Only difference is Brown will now have HC experience...

Allow me to explain. Capitalism is ruining football too. There is more and more pressure to win in the NCAA. It's easier to get the W by making your best athlete the QB and letting him take one two looks and then take off and run past largely inferior athletes. It takes to long to develop guys with great minds and slow feet who the heck has time for that anymore it's win now baby or else!!! It has now almost completely taken overt he NFL. None of these guys ever really won yet but once the last of the guys who can spin it are gone it's over. I stopped watching completely.
