Man, it really makes you think what this means for Shiki. To have spent so much of his life where he sees the death of everything, and then to suddenly bear witness to this. A timeless, beautiful being who is made all the more so by the fact that her Lines of Death, the Lines that have haunted him for over half his life, are invisible to him. No wonder he finds her so enchanting.

5:20- I like the expression Akiha has there. Suprised and then genuinely happy at Shiki's reaction. She masks it with the bougie attitude right after, but it's clear that, for a moment, she's a young woman happy that her brother has come home and is enjoying something she bought for him.

2:11- I love how Arcuied immediately becomes serious when she realizes that Shiki's glasses were created by Aoko Aozaki, and asks if she was currently living in the city. Even someone like her, a True Ancestor of the highest caliber, knows better than to recklessly engage with a True Magician. Goes to show just how powerful Magic Blue has made Aoko that she can make Arcuied breath a sigh of relief knowing that she doesn't have to fight her at some point.
