Keynote dinner speech at 344th Recruiting Squadron Banquet in Rockwall, Texas, on Oct. 16, 2019. McKenna was commander of 344th from 2008 to 2010 and this was his first visit back. Speech was given to about 200 recruiters and their spouses.

My daughter isn't the most adventurous type, so when she and two of her 10-year-old friends decided to try "stair luge" with a blowup mattress, I grabbed my videocamera. My daughter's reaction to her 3-second ride is....let's just say...loud.

April 2, 2010 The day the kids thought it would be a good idea to test out the water temp of our neighborhood pool for the first time since September. I was all too happy to oblige them...and record the moment. The only two rules: (1) they couldn't test the water beforehand and (2) they had to jump in at the same time. The final result is priceless.

My daughter celebrated her 10th birthday at a local eatery with 9 of her friends. She was surprised to find a limousine waiting outside the restaurant to take them home. This is her reaction...O-M-G!

May 28, 2007, marks the first time my daughter has ever ridden a bicycle without training wheels. It took about an hour to get her comfortable on two wheels, but soon she was riding with all the kids in the neighborhood

My dad is Michael montes #34 starting linebacker for the huskeys on this 86 team we lost him this year to cancer I just happened to stumble across this video and watched it and there he was I can't tell u how grateful I am that u posted this and how I was able to see him again doing what he loved and would always talk about the times he played for the Holmes huskeys varsity's football team thank you

The Holmes Huskies had some Great Players in the 1980's: Jimmy Hawkins, Wilber Odum, Johnny Walker, Keith & Kerry Cash, Jerry Arceneix, Mike Perez, Joey Garza, Nathan Bennett, Mike McKenzie, etc.
I played with Jimmy's little brother Tony on a Lackland pop warner team. Followed Jimmy's run at A&M.
I have a limo and we use it all the time
That was a Great Holmes Husky Team that year in 1986. Holmes was Ranked 1# in the City of San Antonio, The State of Texas at the 5A Level and 3# in the Nation that year.

What a great year for high school football
The Cash Twins were legendary names in San Antonio and especially at Holmes High School. I lived 5 mins away from Holmes and you couldn't play football in those days without hearing their names.
Holmes is garbage now lol I'm a freshman at Clark and our time is now watch out people cause the couriers are coming
The last Air Force band I was in ...
I was one of the first members of Top Flight. In fact, I was the one who came up with the name (I was thinking about golf). We had just been recreated from Blue Velvet, an 8-member show group (4-piece combo and SATB vocalists). Tom Harris was on drums, Blake Waters was on bass, Bill Tilton was on guitar and Ron Larsen was on keys. We also had another vocalist, Jesse Nolan. And in forming the band, Top Flight started out with a couple of trumpets and a trombone, but we soon realized that wasn't where the group was going. We played Top 40's and were quickly sent out to the high schools as the Band of the West's envoy for the Say No to Drugs programs.

Class of 2000. We lost to Katty in the playoffs. Its too bad our school went down hill after all the zone changes with the new schools opening. We have a weaker pool of athletes now.
Holmes started sucking because more High schools were like Warren that cut into Holmes's boundaries. I remember when Holmes's boundaries extended up to Potranco past 151 by Pease MS.
