Just because you *can* qualify for a home , doesn't mean you should. Realtors always want you to buy the most expensive thing you can buy because it earns them higher commission. How much you can afford in this video is unaffordable.

So why not buy a way nicer house in Calgary for 100K down? You would spend the same, and have a far easier property to rent out.

If you're looking to resell it ok... all those ren's are necessary ... but if you're looking to live in it... as is with a few minor ren's you do yourself...with paint, hammer & nails those expenses are drastic... very overpriced you could do most of the work yourself... I've seen plenty of youtubers who are doing most of the ren's themselves saving a ton of money along the way
