Online Models Ltd are the new manufacturers of the well known Eckon and Berko brands.
This channel is dedicated to providing support advice and helpful tips on how to get the most out of the Eckon and Berko product ranges, and of course we are happy to answer any queries you may have about our products.
since taking over the production of the Eckon range we have introduced a new stock system, which aims to ensure supplies of every Eckon and Berko item are always available for dispatch to our customers and Distributors, we have also introduced new products like the ES101 'OFF' box.

Railway Films Collection Opening Title Sequence May 2020 RIP Dave Long
This Is the new Title Sequence that will feature on The Railway Films Collection DVD's and digital content from today.
Dave Long originally created the Railway Films range of affordable railways Video's and DVD's while working at Settle Junction as a signal man. his range of titles continued to grow and today the range contains over 200 titles.
In January 2016 Dave sold the Railway Films range and all associated rights to Online Models Ltd, since then we have endeavoured to preserve and update the collection for the future, this process began with re-digitising the whole collection to allow digital re-mastering to begin. Updated titles are sold under the Railway Films Collection Banner and received new title sequences as part of the upgrade process.
Dave Long Passed away in April 2020 from Cancer, as a memorial to all the work he did creating the Railway Films this new Title sequence was created with a memorial message at the beginning... RIP Dave Long, Gone but not forgotten.
All newly released updated titles from this point will feature this memorial message at the beginning of the titles, the message lasts just 21 seconds, but we at Online Models Ltd and Railway Films felt he had been such a part of the Railway Films Collection that this message was warranted and well earned. so once again RIP Dave Long.

can you please do a full video of how to wire and control a three aspect signal red yellow green please to a dapol signal gantry and where the wires go
wiring up a 3 aspect is slightly more complicated than a 2 aspect, there are several different ways (none of them perfect). we recommend using a Block Signalling module to control 3 & 4 aspect signals: onlinemodelsltd.co.uk/product-category/block-signalling-modules/ i personally recommend the SEC1-DC as an all in one solution to controlling your signals, but if u just need to run 1 signal an ASP1 or ASP1-NS will work fine. with regards to Dapol Gantries, there are many different ways to fit a signal to a gantry (depending on layout era, location etc...) it really is up to the individual to decide the best method for the layout. but we will add a video on the subject of signal gantries to our to do list.
i cant seem to find the EE5 switch for sale anywhere ?
TectrixReviews The EE5 switch is still a concept prototype. with the increasing popularity of automation or DCC it is only one of several products under consideration. in the mean time i recommend the EE2 (which has all the same features but also has a center OFF). I hope this helps
Hi James I recently subscribed to your channel and really enjoyed watching as I haven't much confidence in wiring up colour lights. Now could you do another vid showing exactly how to wire a 4 aspect to switches etc and maybe the route indicator many thanks Denis
can anyone spot the deliberate mistake?
do you do a switch for the 4 aspect signal ???
Not an individual switch, no. However I combine an Eckon EE1 (on-off) & an EE3 (3 aspect, on-on-on) to control the sequence of the signal lights. Other modelers have used 4 position 'rotary' switches but by using one of these you have to reverse the sequence of the signal aspects to re-set the signal back to the start of its signalling sequence. Also, (if you don't mind spending the money) Heathcote systems do a signal sequencing control unit (MAS Sequencer) suitable for use with Eckon/Berko signals
For all the more adventurous modelers out there... This kit can also be used as a Train Arrivals & Departures screen. This is simply done by replacing the 'OFF' plate with a piece of clear acetate sheet printed with the relevant platform "Arrival / Departure" details. Remember to use Clear Fix when sticking the acetate to the lens to avoid clouding the acetate sheet which may spoil the look of the model.
