How do you clear the trip
So I charged my bike all the way till the brick turned green then I disconnected it and after that a blue light has been on none stop. I couldn’t turn it off but I have been out since it charged. I just swapped out the battery for the extra one that I got in the mail today.
I test rode a 500.3. What impressed me the most is the torque sensor mode. Welldone Aventon.
No disrepect but how was that a review?
Pick this puppy up last year and its awesome!
What is the weight for the carbon, thank you
The left button on my bike turns the power on and off. Not the center button. I have no turn signals. The right button turns on and off the lights.
Do you have the Level? This particular video is on the Pace 500.3. The Pace has the most features of all the models.

Great Bike!
Dealer for europe ?
Unfortunately, we are not.
I ordered mine last week here this Friday.
Nice! Hope you love it!
A-100 Harbor Freight motor. Lots of torque now, lots of noise later.
Aventon designed and manufactured their own motor on the Ramblas. If Harbor Freight sells a motor with the same numbering, they are not the same product.
@@crankworksbikes I'm just trying to provoke someone into telling me this motor is worthy of my cash is all.
From what we have seen in our stores, they have surprised us. We have not seen any back with any issues.
I only have 200 miles on my Ramblas and the motor is great. It's basically silent with a barely audible whrrrr that lets you know that the motor is actually working and so far it eats hill like they're not even there (especially in TURBO mode). Typically I ride dirt roads and trails in ECO mode, but yesterday I had to race 5 miles, on dirt roads into a stiff headwind to beat an incoming rainstorm, so I used TURBO cruised at 19 mph home. On a non E-mtb, I would had worked hard to to maintain 10 mph into the wind and would have got home wet. As a class 1 E-bike and riding into that wind, once I hit 20mph that was my max speed and when I tried to go faster, I was on my own. So it was just easier to ride just below 20mph. Don't get me wrong, with a tailwind or riding downhill you CAN ride faster than 20mph and the motor has the power to make it easier to ride faster, but as a class-1, the software limits the motor to 20mph.
@@coyoteself I wanted to hear some positive feedback on the A100 motor. It's got the torque I'm looking for. 100 Nm is plenty. It just has to last. Developed by Aventon in-house makes me skeptical because Yamaha, Shimano and Bosch have the top rated ebike motors. 200 miles isn't much of an endurance test, but, if Aventon wants to compete, then I wish them the best. Other brands offer great motors but will a hefty price tag. I need to trust that A100. Maybe I'll give it a shot.
Just bought mine yesterday. Very impressed after test riding compared to the big brands.
The feedback from our customers has been the same!
What components?
How do I set the odometer?
How hot does the Charger normally get? I recently got my Aventure 2 and on my 3rd charge and the charger get to 135 farenheit with a infrared thermometer. It gets hotter than any charger that I've own and I'm worried it may shorten its life.
Unfortunately, the chargers do get hot. There is a lot of energy moving through them at a fast rate. The side effect is heat.
The seat is not comfortabe anymore but it's a great bike
Ever consider buying a new more comfortable seat? 🤔
A new seat is easy to install.
Would this bike work on gravel roads not off-roading just gravel roads and paved usage
Yes. It does have a wider tire to make that riding easier. But ideally if you are looking at the pace 500, you would want a tire with a little more tread. The Level may be a better option with the front shock.
Great comparison, thank you 😊
Thanks for watching!
@@crankworksbikesconsidering buying a used expert. Any motor issues?
Can you unlock Type III for 28mph?
Unfortunately, no. The Como 3.0 is set at 19/20 mph.
@@crankworksbikes Ok I just contacted Specialized directly and they told me the 3.0 can be unlocked to Type 3, 28mph but it can only can be done by an authorized dealer.
@@srobeck77 We recently had an update to our Specialized system. So We'll definitely have to check into that.
@@crankworksbikes if you could confirm this works, it would be appreciated. I plan to buy one on June 1st when the MN 50% tax credit for ebikes begins
@@srobeck77 We spoke with the head of the technical support department at Specialized and we were advised this is not possible on the Como 3.0.

The Sun traditional trike is $700
you didn't mention the blue flashing light on the battery when charging the battery separately? does it yell me anything helpful, or just charge until the charger indicator goes from red to green? thnks
The blue light indicates a higher level of charge. Your battery will potentially show 3 different colors at 3 different levels of charge. Just charge until the charger turns green.
I did this too. It’s a magic carpet ride 🤩. Very nice build 👍
Awesome! Thank you!
Vreau pretu
Or just slap a set of Pathfinder Pro 38s on the regular Sirrus, like I have, tan sidewalls on matt black frame 👌 Actually I got the Sirrus 2.0, going to stick with that as I'm 80% street, 20% light XC, however, if I could do it all again, I think I'd go Sirrus X 4.0
Il prezzo grazie?
$700 currently.
Mark Quick question please: I have 2 new....100 miles on each...Soltera 7 bikes from Aventon. Identical as are the batteries. Everything works flawlessly but when I remove the battery from each bike...charge to a full 100% capacity...then reinstall each battery and don't ride either bike for approx. 2 weeks....the battery discharge to approx 2/3rd of their original full charge. As if some sort of parasitic loss from just sitting installed in bike and yes...the onboard dashboard and electrics are turned OFF. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong like not removing the battery pack when not riding? Thanks much.
Have you tried charging the batteries directly on the bike and see if you get a different result?
@@crankworksbikes I'll try that but can't visualize how that could possibly make any difference.
@@frankcastle5294 If there's no difference, reach out to Aventon or your local dealer to file a warranty.
@@crankworksbikes OK will do and thanks very much for that info.
how much is this؟
These are $700 currently.

At what voltage or percentage should I charge my battery? I cannot seem to get the correct answer
Do your best to charge the battery when it is between 10-15% power left as per the bike onboard computer. And always charge to full 100%. If you do this religiously you should get on average approx 700 full charges to the battery till its life expires.
Partial charges are actually better than full charges each time. Best to keep your batteries SOC between 20-80%. And between 40 -60% charge for storage. Fully charge the battery about every fifth ride to balance the cells.
@@FDchief904Well thanks. That makes it about 45 different opinions on how and when to charge. Thanks anyway.
A complete cycle of the battery will make it last longer. Charge it when it when it gets below 15% or so and charge until completely full.
nice video! thanks for posting I am waiting for my 500.3 delivery tomorrow. super excited
Hope you enjoy it!

Tenho interesse de comprar.
The pressfit bottom bracket is kind of a dealbraker for me... For this pricepoint they could have at least built it with bsa...
Why did all Salsa bikes go on a huge sale?
Just like most of the bike manufacturers, Salsa had overstock.
Thanks for the video. Only comment is why have the weight of the brick hanging on charger port. I guarantee that will lead to wiring issues down the road.
We had the bike up high on a display for the video. In actual use, the cable would not pull that way.
Nice looking bike….has the vida look.
Does anyone know if Sun made a Streamway Trike?
The step through on the traditional trike is extremely low compared to most bikes, but not quite as low as the Sun Streamway.
Looks very comfortable
The Cutthroat is absolutely made to be comfortable on those long days in the saddle. Several employees at Crank Works own them.
I see, the difference is the way they protect and that the mountain bike one has more material therefore has extra weight. That's it?
This is no review. It is a sales pitch.
We have walked through all the main features of the bike and it's use. We're providing information on the bike. Anyone looking to purchase this bike is looking for information. If you have a comparable trike, you'd like us to do a compare/contrast, we'd be happy to do that.
What are the fattest tyres you can fit on the Sirrus- none X model? Mines got 32mm at the moment. I’d like wider ones. Should have got the X version 🤦🏻♂️
42mm seems to be the widest you can put on the current model year Sirrus. Without knowing your exact model year I can't guarantee that a 42mm tire will fit your bike. Hopefully that helps!
They told me sirrus is more for commuting and city riding... a fitness bike with 35mm tires with fenders and sirrus x is more of a flat bar gravel bike comes with 42mm tires, specialized said 35mm with fenders. I'm going tomorrow to local bike shop to get sirrus x 3.0, I need a bike for commuting with fenders, riding to and from work in the rain
Yeah, after owning mine for a while, and only needing to ride to work 5miles... I'm getting a mountain bike that I can use on rougher terrain at weekends... @@jesus-xr9yo
