I had mine stolen of my 06 e450. exhaust is 3 in. does the 3 in flexible pipe slip over easily being the same diameter?
Yes, the solid extension is flared on one side and fits one end. The flex pipe then fits on the outside of the extension allowing you to slide it all the way on then pull it back to fit over the other existing 3-inch pipe. It will be louder than stock, but better than open pipe and works as a temporary fix.
Just found your video, we are currently renting a cabin on rd 858 . We have been through Owl Creek pass from both directions. The direction you went from Hwy 550 much more difficult than going in from the Cimarron direction. Enjoyed your video.
Definitely doing this
Were those acorn trees? If so can they be picked?
This was all on public land and not a national park or monument.
Thanks! We will have to try this one out next time we are out that way.
That was pretty and pointless. You didn't explore anything, you drove around. Enough.
The video kind of jumps around on your ride. 1st lake, Browne 2nd lake sheep creek. Then it shows you coming back from spirit lake before starting the sheep creek geological loop.
Good video on where not to go if you want do some real 4wd
Yep, more of a scenic drive.
Thanks for posting. Coming out this way in a month for some single track riding. Looking to camp along this road. If you could answer this, it'd be great: we're coming up in a Chrysler Pacifica and hammock camp so the first section may not work for us as it looks to be all open grasslands. How far back into the treeline do they allow dispersed and do you think a FWD low clearance van towing a small trailer can navigate this going slowly? From your video, it doesn't look too bad but.....y'know. TIA
See my other comment or look around the 4:12 point of the video.
There is a creek crossing that will be difficult if the water is up. But look in this vicinity first. You could hang hammocks here. 38.8565476, -106.5547362
Yes Trails Offroad calls it 755 too.
Be nice to have some indication where this trail begins.

@@DreamKetchers please forgive me for asking
@@olegig5166 No problem!
@@DreamKetchers weird that COTREX has it as 755 and Google Maps has it as 742C.
One of our favorite trails....works great to take the trail from One Mile ...end up at Three Rivers and have lunch at The Smokehouse...head back!!!
...this music... I keep waiting to hear "MOOORTAL KOMBAT!!!"
Heading there in a few weeks, great place.
Have fun! Lot of trails to enjoy!
I have a old 2001 e250 have rattling from my cats. I was thinking of eliminating them, any one have any thoughts
So glad you posted this. The campground was destroyed by a tornado on March 31, 2023. It is closed while they are still clearing trees, and will need to rebuild the infrastructure of the campground. It will take generations for the tree growth to look like this again.
Oh no. That is terrible news.
How long did this take you to go through? Video is an hour but I’m guessing longer?
I usually cut out the time we stop and also speed up the TH-cam video to 2x to 4x because they would be very long otherwise.
@@DreamKetchers thank you! If your jeep lifted at all?
Yes 3 inch with 37s
I HOPE I WILL COME HERE FOR MY BIRTHDAY
Hello need some more info on this video. The only "Mineral" I know near Zion is just east of Poverty Been into Mineral years ago but none of your video looks right. Could it be that you are looking into MIneral Gulch from the elephant cove area? (come in from the Barracks or Coral Pink Sand Dunes. ) Could you straighten me out with some mapping details. Also not on instagram so not sure how to contact you via email.
Yes it is just W of Lower Barracks North of White Cliffs. It's called Mineral Gulch Loop on OnX. We were S of 9. Two roads are labeled 73Q and 73V. One photo I took at an over look was at 37.192516,-112.760250
Thank you so much. Just been too long I guess. @@DreamKetchers

I've hiked that "road" many times, a friend lived at the end of the road. Long time ago
all i could think of was that joke where the cowboy's are asking a prospector where the bandits are hiding, but he can't tell them because its nowhere near a gulch.
If you live someplace where they don’t do emissions testing a cheap fix will work.
Great video so I'm planning a trip up there with my 21 lifted (2.5 inch) forester it looks like I shouldn't have any problems on these trails we plan on spending the day there is there any o trails you would recommend
It's a huge park. Lots to see and we needed more time there. The trail from the campground to the other trails was nice.
Have you done the second half? Is it much harder ?
Yes, search for that video on my channel. It was a prior year.
Thanks for sharing, do you think a stock Sahara will be able to make most of the 3 and 5 at redbird? I was told that the 3X and 5X are more challenging.
If it's dry, go for it. The x trails were so bad I couldn't complete them. Call the park office for current conditions.
Cool video! Making me relive how in over my head I was driving up there last summer.
Nice job! Great edit. But wish you’d have just left out the soundtrack. But great video nonetheless. 👍
What kind of vehicle were you in? Jeep or a side by side?
Jeep Wrangler
@@DreamKetchers nice…used to live in Yuma and explore the Barry Goldwater range complex on my RZR…great location!
This is why colorado rockies are highly underrated compared to the rockies of montana and Canada! Because most of the gorgeous places in colorado are only accessible by a jeep or by foot! Nothing, in my opinion beats places like this or yankee boy basin or mount sneffels etc! Awesome footage thank you
I have to agree! Thanks.
Hi is this off the 303 near 17 near wild horse west thanks

We were exploring the park. Yes it was our first time there and looking at the different camping options.
We did that long day but we loved it...we didn't take the waterfall... don't miss the turn in the CURVE
It was a long ride, but fun!
@@DreamKetchers dreamcatcher is the name of our TRAILER...lol
Nice video! My wife and I came upon this town while on vacation several years ago. We enjoyed a brew as a break in our travels. Have been back a few times since. Going there in 5 more weeks for a see the colors vacation. Looking forward to it. Thanks for the video!
Love driving this road every year. Haven't seen the surface that smooth in years.. always deep ruts when we hit it.
I just got home from corkscrew. There's still deep ruts. Just can't tell in the video.
The Alltrails map takes you to the Eagletown School. Is that correct? Been hiking Mccurtain Co for 25 years and am still trying to find the secret hole 😂
Sometimes Google maps labels it by the school district. It's at 34.1305560, -94.6516670 need truck, bike or hike. Need to go when water flowing after rains but then you'll need 4x4 to get close. It's a forest road and goggle maps calls it Rock Pile Trail and Carnasaw Creek. Have fun and be safe.
@@DreamKetchers thank youuuuu! Gonna pin it on Maps and try to find it in Sept, if we get some rain!
@@DreamKetchers I am taking a trip to OK for my bday. Is the coordinates in your comment the exact location of the secret hole, or is it just the driving trail? I'm hoping to hike to the secret hole in may.
34.1305560, -94.6516670 is what I saved on Google Maps. Small parking on the side of Rockpile Road with trail leading to creek then down to the pool.
@@darkacademiadoctorThe Alltrails link in the description is the hiking trail. The onx link is the forest road to the trail. Follow alltrails route to find it
Terrible.
I’ll be there in August
Oh, its nice up there!

Going to be in that area in a couple weeks! The Taylor Park area is our favorite area…staying in Almont this year will be hitting this trail for sure. This is our 6 year of coming to this area and never been on this one. Thanks for sharing
