@@ANTMANIAGDP I picked up Ashra and Li Mei at the same time. These are literally just a day or 2 of using them in these videos. This was like the 2 following days after we played last.

Nobody expected our day 1 to be top player level good. You had worked just to get home late and barely lab before we played. We think you have a good enough reason to be mid day 1. Unlike some who sit at home all day labbing just to be hot garbage.

@ANTMANIAGDP You inspired me. I picked her just to end this session to give a hint what's next. I learned some stuff in the lab the next day, and then we ran it that same night I labbed her kombo potential. Tomorrow is the start of her, "Let's try."

@ANTMANIAGDP So far, I tried to mimic you so I can get an understanding. I'm using Goro, Motaro, and Khameleon with her as they are the lore based teams. I feel Shujinko fits that with a majority of kharacters, including her from the konquest. So I may try him with her too.

@@youngdresbaby You gotta add Cyrax & Janet to your repertoire too, if you're going to mimic my playstyle!! Haha I never thought of using Shujinko for Li Mei and to be honest, I only used him for Invasions a couple of seasons ago because I had to for one of the challenges for the chest, so if he's going to be in your footage then I'll be paying extra attention to that.

@ANTMANIAGDP Naw, I don't want to mimic the meta. I meant just needed an idea of what converts, how to approach, and best tools. Not necessarily mimicking the squad. Specifically just her.

My bro came over one day, and we played offline. This was the set my son and I played once my bro left. This was like days after we played. I'm just now getting it up and editing. I've barely been on my game, but for some youtube or, at most, download the new free skins.

@@itsjusttayttv It was fun. Now that I'm reviewing the set. I see all the areas where he could have tried some risky stuff for great rewards. He was playing his neutral very safe which cost him moments of pressure. Waiting for me to make mistakes.

@ANTMANIAGDP Aye, I don't have any recordings when I was playing Ermac. If you got those, you got my ok to post anything, no matter the results.

@ANTMANIAGDP I'm sure I'm rusty now, lol. I only played him one more night against my bro and son. After that, I got on MK one other time to finish invasions, and I was playing Li Mei and Ashra to gain more krystals for mk3 skins and 95 movie skins. So after this set, the only content I have is day 3, Takeda vs. my bro and son.

It literally defeats the purpose of the animation and the throwing stars. There's no mix there like in MKX. I could mix b1 with low star or b12 with low star for a mind game. Not anymore smh.

To be fair. If Takeda B12 were both overheads, people would just stop the 1st hit with up block 9 time out of 10, rendering it useless. You wouldn't be able to get the 2nd hit or cancel because upblock stops any of that.

I use both, just with specific characters. I like more lore based teams rather than playing the meta. So for Omni-man, Peacemaker, and Homelander specifically, I will only use Sonya, Jax, Kano, and Stryker. Only because they're most fitting with those playable characters, imo by design and lore. And I don't really like Stryker, so he's rare with me.

You're probably doing what I was doing at 1st. Input Up+L2 and then the attack button to pull it off. I caught myself doing Up+L2+4, which didn't allow the attack to come out because it's reading the float cancel input only. If you are still having issues, let me know. Maybe we can link up online, and I can show you personally.

I had trouble at 1st, too, during the tutorial. I realized you actually have some cushion time on inputs after Up+L2. Once I stopped rushing and tried to be more precise, everything started flowing. If you have any questions, I'm happy to help if I can.
