Pyrosomatidae
Pyrosomatidae/ it’s a pelagic colony of tiny tunicates that that got together and formed walls until they shaped a cone to give them more strength and the ability to filtrate while they drift in the vast ocean, the transparency of the tunicate stacked up together gives it a beautiful iridescent pink glow. Angel Shark // silent inconspicuous stalker, flops the sand to burry itself waiting for the right prey and the right time, master of camouflage and king of patience, fastest bite in the west. The Dotos!!! I got to this one area in the marine room canyon where the edge algae was covered on them, it was a it surgie so very hard to focus, nevertheless I had a great time observing them. #sandiegodivereport
