alpha yang is a 25 year old Chinese-Filipino producer/singer-songwriter/performer born in Manila and created by Jacob Yulo. When he had no luck in joining any band in high school, he decided to make alpha yang as a compromise. The project started out with EDM remixes on Soundcloud, before making his own original content in his bedroom. His sound has now developed into what he calls a dense bedroom pop, having a blend of Pop, R&B, Rock and more.
