v button is default button for scanning. You want dscan window always open visible while in space. If you hold v and click on something in your right side overview properly then it wipl automatically aim the dscan at it. And more to this Eve Online defensive and offensive measure exists when you get into scan probes and combat scanning. #eveonline #dscan
