I've used this method on small and larger trees . Its fast , efficient and takes alot of pressure off of leaning trees reducing the possibility of barber chair .

I believe I am a skilled operator but most importantly I have fun doing what I do. This is my first video with many more to come . Hopefully I can help anyone interested with my methods and ideas . All questions will be answered. enjoy enjoy enjoy cheers Neil I will eventually post videos of land Clearing road building , french drains , building burms, and some dangerous tree removal as this is...
I have a similarly equipped B26 and will readily admit that the crawler stick would help in making small tractor placement adjustments. However, for those of you not familiar with the B26, a safety switch must be defeated to enable movement with the seatfacing the rear. I'm not saying that you will automatically be hurt by this, but just making you aware.
Tractor porn
My neighbour has a bs26 and helped us out quite a bit. I really like the tractor. We were thinking of buying one but at almost 80k CAD it is just too much for us right now (and even if we had it it is hard to justify 80k on a tractor that doesnt make us any money..). We will continue to pay the neighbour for a while and see what next year brings..
Dont buy new.By a good used machine and save thousands.Lots of good ones out there now.
@@northeasterndirtandpropert7974 I am not sure how the market is right now but we still dont have the money for one (new or used). It all goes to the government.
nice work, I live in Australia and have just ordered a B26 for exactly what you are using it for. I'm upgrading from a Bx23s so cant wait for the increased performance. Unfortunately Kubota does not offer the hydraulic thumb in Aus so ill have it done aftermarket, wouldn't be without it after watching you. Are you using any of the landpride grapples? cheers Dave
my apologies for taking months to reply...by now you are doing ballet on your machine . in answer to your question . no I am not using a landpride grapple ...not even sure what mine is but I have had to fix it more than once ....why.. because I am really hard on my equipment .. so I had to reinforce it and do a bit of welding ..I also rebuilt the quick attachment on the loader where it has tubular steel I changed it up for a heavier rectangular tubing with welded braces...also added bracing to the front loader arms... regardless it is an awesome machine...so enjoy ,,,cheers
Can you post a video or photos of your tool you made up to operate the forward reverse from the backhoe seat? Thank you.
I live in Washington state and notice your topsoil appears to be the A horizon of Glacial till soil, So I'll guess somewhere in BC, or Vancouver Island
Just up grade from a bx25d and just order a b26 just wondering how you made the crawler stick I was thinking the same thing would like to see how you did it if you don't mind showing some pics of it thanks like the video I can't wait till my tractor get built and deliver
If you look closely at the video it is clear how I achieved it.
Well played sir
Thank you
Anyone know where this is ???
Nice Tractor...
Nice comment.... love my tractor/backhoe. Thank you .
Nice Kubota..
Thank you .... do you have one too ?
Nice Tractor...
Neil here If anyone is interested you may have noticed in my video that I made a tool to make my tractor crawl forward or backwards while operating the backhoe. This makes things super efficient . If you would like more info don't hesitate to ask . Cheers Neil
Hi Neil ! I was wondering how did you crawl forward like that ! I was considering the l47 just for that feature alone but I prefer smaller tractors for my application. Can you share how you did it please ?
@@GabrielRancourtPhotography Hi Gabriel I am very busy with work at the moment but will take some photos and send them your was as soon as possible. The B26 is a fantastic machine , gets into tight spots and because it is only 4000 lbs doesn't make a mess and is easily transported. If you do look very closely at the video you can figure this out . : ) Cheers
@@annispis Yes I agree that smaller tractor are sometimes way better for not making a mess ! I saw your stick in the video. Great Idea ! Im debating about getting a Lx2610 or the b26... I do a lot of tree cutting in the woods by myself and I want something strong enough but not to big.
@@GabrielRancourtPhotography Hi again My recommendation...get the b26 It is a commercial machine made to withstand a tree falling on it. Everything about it is heavier build and the hydraulic pumps front and back are more than adequate. I have put over 2000 hours on mine . I did do some reinforcing on the loader quick connect as it is a bit underbuilt . Other than that it is a wonderful and powerful machine and easy to use and learn. Best of luck.
@@annispis Hi Neil ! Just to let you know that I have made an stick myself life yours and just sold my bx23s to buy a new b26.... thanks for the advice !
