poor the beautiful, pure and naive girl. The pure, cute, and warm-hearted girl like her deserve the protection. God, please protect all girl and woman out of evil eyes 😥
One of my favorite movies
Lemme tell you what it actually is. Angel is the dissociated frontal cortex of those raised theist. Egg is the trans who doesn't realize they are trans. And the film is about preventing the egg from hatching in the christian faith. The egg being smashed represents the psyche shattering into plurality. The egg becoming many other eggs, means each new personality can be another egg (unwittingly trans).
I really enjoyed this video analysis; imagery; symbols and colour are vital for evoking resonance...so few films cater to the feminine audience.
This might be a reach, but i've always imagined that the 60s look to the film was a representation of Elaine's delusion. Anything that shes involved in (her car, the woods guy's car, her clothes, her house, etc) is vintage somehow and the acting is very corny, like she imagines herself in a old movie. It makes me wonder if she really kills the detective in the end.
The story of her being unable to get an abortion, being forced to birth a child she never wanted and being a horrible mother because she was never meant to be one is devastating and shows why abortions are so needed and should never be banned.
I cant find ny information on the rose cult can anybody help mee?
damn this was so good.. i still have so many questions and a different way of interpreting this but all that aside this video and movie itself were both so damn good.
despite all the controverse about this movie, still remains one of my life favorites. The way literature, philosophy, art, food and music are used on the composition of the characters is sublime. i watched it, for the first time, in 2015, and since then i do it every year. it's like be with some part of myself that is gone away.
Great video, I urge you guys to also watch Max Derrat's analysis on this great film, the more interpretations the better
None of the Brazilian models came close to the beauty and depth of Ruslana.
I love it because I relate to her identity issues (not her sexuality). As a woman (now 40). I remember being 16-20 and my feelings and love was soooo intense and fluctual in this period of finding my identity. I felt everything so intense, and thought I was the only one. Maybe this is normal as Young come of age. I still dont know, but relate deeply to her in this film
Thank you for this, I was trying to find a feminine perspective and analysis which has been hard to find
What is the name of the piano track that plays throughout "Love pt. 1" (around 14:15)? It's so calming...
I love your videos! I hope a new one is on the way soon ❤
at least pronounce her name correctly, chappel roan could do that 😭
🤍
Yesss I can’t believe how little attention has been paid to this incredible film. I love that your are bringing attention and analysis. I saw this movie for the first time a couple weeks ago and watched it every day for 3 days in a row. It’s now one of my favorite movies, and I was depressed to find so little discourse about it.
The phenotypically advantaged (nothing they did on their own) have ruined so much of life on this planet for far too many.
your voice is beautiful
Thank you for making such great content. Learning so much and seeing certain things in a new light, feeling more encouraged. Also your Angel’s Egg analysis is fantastic 🤍
when i found out the movie was directed and produced by a man, i got angry tbh
you have done such great job Barave 👌👌💚💚
Everything I wanted in an analysis I feel as though I’ve unlocked a hidden chamber on consciousness, and I’m now convinced I need to watch more anime art Nuevo films.
If you’re ASMR please say so in the title. I have the opposite response to this close-miking - not pleasure but revulsion.
❤❤❤
The Love Witch is one of my favorite movies. Even though it was shot in 2016, the 60s vibe, Witchcraft based plot and Elaine's iconic atmosphere hook me. Oh God, I'm so grateful to see a video reviewing this movie😭🙏🏻
This poor poor man
"Humans" are hypocrits.
Her mother and her fears about her daughter were right….its heartbreaking.
I thought the movie was terrible. I shut it off after 20 minutes. Bad acting, strong feminism, overbearing narcissistic attitudes. If the lead actress showed nudity in the first sex scene, it would have drawn you more into believing her character .. that no man could withstand or survive her sexuality. Initially the movie reminded me of "Under the Skin", where in both movies a beautiful, detached, other worldly woman seeks out males as objects to solely suit their purpose with tragic results.
That was a great analysis of Possession! I'm very proud of you on this video. I still don't inherently like the movie as a whole; however, you have given me a greater overall respect for the film due to the numerous themes throughout the story. I understood the overarching theme of divorce and the many difficulties/eccentricities that stem from a life event such as that. Overall, like I said before, great video🤝👏

Let's stop whining. If he didn't want to do the film, he should not have done it, no one forced him to go to the casting and then sign the contract. We understand that at that age, he may not have fully appreciated Visconti's genius and the immense cultural importance of the director, but the real problem is that he was not then well surrounded by competent people to manage the rest of his career. He is not the first teenage star to not be able to get past an overwhelming first role.
Celebrate your own beauty. Each of us has unique expression. Trying to copy and emulate is disingenuous and it will show. Inspiration is one thing, but the gift is you and the gift is within. Locus of control is the true you, not the gaze outside your balance.
😢mummy Yes and school I want please if will help me 😢i happy Monica remember 😢🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍👈🤍🤍🤔🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
Why is it good that you change the images every second? Very annoying.
I genuinely hate that she helped the towns people that literally turned on her threatened her life. Beautiful film but the turn the other cheek mentality irks me so in films
She showed kindness in the face of Evil. That's respectful even if it turned back on her. There's no right answer. She did good yet paid for it
Apart from her natural gorgeousness she processes humility and that elevates even more her appeal. I’ve seen her live whilst performing Callas in letters and memoirs , I’ve always wanted to see her considering she was my childhood icon. She has such a feminine womanly charm charm is her biggest weapon. She fills in the room all eyes on her, simple cause she has that captivating womanly classy striking aura.
Correction: Anna‘s secret apartment was not on the other side of the wall. The detective says in his phone call to Mark that the apartment is in Kreuzberg, which is a neighborhood in West Berlin. At the time this movie was made, it was the poorest neighborhood in West Berlin, which is why it looks so rundown in the movie, though today it’s really gentrified.
Sebastianstrasse at the cormer of Luckauer Strasse.
She reminds me of Adriana Lima and Natalie Portman ❤
At 49:20 I assumed "Almost" was quite literally her announcement of her orgasm and contentment. It almost looked like she's been desperate to find happiness and unable to achieve it even after marriage, the birth of her son, and her first affair. She couldn't stand that she was still unfulfilled and literally birthed a monster to bring her pleasure as she can't seem to do it herself. She's more afraid of herself than the monster she created, and finally seems to be happy when she presents her creation as complete. The serenity on her face in the end tells us that she finally is fulfilled by a supportive and dedicated partner
I've always thought of the shadow fish as a portrayal of belief upheld by false pretenses, a reference to the allegory of Plato's cave. The fishermen are the predators and fulfill their role with fanaticism, but in truth they're being led on a fool's errand by an unseen presence that curates an illusion of power without ever granting them anything beyond the chase.
He’s the old guy from Midsommar who dies on the rocks! OHMYGOD 😮 He was beautiful ❤
