The pics are awesome dude :) Sorry I can't actually make out any human figures. My brain is telling me that there is a Pilot and a Co-Pilot sat in the cockpit there, but I can't see anyone, let alone a salute, my bad...I''m not saying that it's not true, maybe I can't see it when everyone else can, but I can't make it out. and I am a Dental Technician with 20-20 vision....sorry :/

um...sorry to spoil it, but you can't even make out anything in the cockpit...let alone a hand. Would be nice if we could have actually seen something, but it wasn't a surprise not to have been able to have seen anything. I do have to admit though, it is cool seeing stuff like this, amazing tech :) proven to be lasting too! Tornado is what, 40 - 50 years old at a guess?..I like the Harrier too, but It doesn't best my all time fav = F14 A Tomcat.

What does the Tornado compare with? The A-10. Su-25??? It's a very good jet for it's time, Most American Attack/Recon Planes are to big and stand out, The Tornado looks small but can unleash fire!!!...

I went to the link, and it took me a while but I did see the salute :)

when my son and I were to an air base open house, the highlight of the show was a fly by of an SR-71..at 400 mph.definitely a cool event...they had B52 bomb loading exhibitions....that was at the former Sawyer Air Force Base in Marquette, County, Upper Peninsula, Michigan. I'd been to Prestwick in Scotland and Burderop Park in the west country..ah, you cannot not love the west country....

They sure are nice to tilt in your direction when you take the photo. :)
