Shapeoko CNC Table First run on acrylic. Aperture Laboratories using valves public file. Seems like speed is your cake here. This was the first initial run. Secondary runs produced a better result when you bump the router speed to 27k and run the machine at 200% speed. Then run a secondary pass, 1/100 depth deeper to clear out the acrylic traces. Time lapse 3840 x 2160 @ 1fps / playback @ 29.97.

yea nothing holds up to ms.frizzle in the sky. BUT, I've seen computers survive lightning strikes with burn holes in these chips. If you can score old equipment for the cheap then go for it. Just wouldn't buy it new unless you've got multiple layers of electrical isolation at home.
