Can you use this same technique when using artificial flowers?
Yes you can, but I would use a glue gun instead of floral glue 😊
Aha great! And would you still use the wire and if so, how?
@@charlenesoerodimedjo4451 most artificials already have wire so that’s probably a step you could skip.
I’m wondering because of the glue how long will it stay fresh for?
We box them and store them in the fridge for up to three days before the event. On event day, the flowers will last most of the day. More delicate flowers will soften and droop as the day wears on, and hardier flowers will keep for days and days. It’s important to know your product. Running some tests always helps!
what brand of Glue Dots do you use?
We use a brand called Uglu
Great video! I’ve seen this corsage using a bracelet but didn’t know how it attached.
Thanks! We’ve found this technique to be very reliable
Finishing touch spray Plastic Container Refrigerate. Two days before event
Yes, exactly
Oasis Floral Adhesive
10:27 like eyelash glue! Thank you - great detailed video!!! I've been doing hair & makeup (for weddings & other formal events) for 20+ years. I started a flower farm this year (I've grown dahlias for a decade, but I kinda inherited a greenhouse) & decided to try all the flowers. I just planned to grow for florists - but when people ask about doing the flowers for... they mean everything! I'm learning to grow & do preservation, arranging - making my brains design come to life - I am loving it - but OMG these videos can be overwhelming! All of them 😂
Oh boy, that’s a lot!! Sounds very exciting, best of luck with everything!!
Hello, where did you get the wire cutters?
These are from Amazon. If you search for side cutters they’ll come up in the search results. I think these came in a pack of 3.
Thank you for the video - how wide is the band you used? An inch? Or larger? Thank you!
This particular mad is 1.25” and we’ve found that to be a great size. We’ve gone smaller but you lose some surface area for gluing.
This one is 1.25” but we’ll generally use anywhere from 1” to 1.5”
How does the flowers stay fresh without water especially roses
The flowers will eventually wilt at a much faster rate than they would in water. Wrapping the flower with tape helps to retain the water that’s already in the stem. Keeping the flowers cool until event day also helps to slow the wilting process. Once the roses are out in the world, they’ll last most of the day - depending on weather.
Are these spray roses?
Yes they are. We’re using white majolica spray roses for this corsage
You explain things really well.
Thank you!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What gauge stem wire do you use?
12 to 16 :)
Love the cuff where did you get it?
We use Rings & Things: rings-things.com/jewelry-findings-and-components/rings-and-bracelets/cuff-bracelet-blanks/
Great tutorial! 🔥
Thanks Jay!
what fabric are you using on the poles?
Hey Jeanne, we're using a fabric called voile, it's similar to a chiffon but a little more durable.
Hello about how long is each piece of fabric you are using to drape?
Each piece is 30ft long
Event Creatives If each piece is 30 feet long, and you have a 40 x 80 tent, how did you do that? 😬😬😬. I’m new here - LOL
The fabric is attached at the peak so it's only covering half the span from centre to the outside post.
where do you get thr fabric? its beautiful
It's voile draping which can be purchased online through an event fabric supplier :)
