Saw Robert Stoddard play this song at the Webb School in Claremont, CA in 1981? 1982? Always remember someone in the band's pregnant girlfriend shooting heroin in the bathroom. Scary. Great song through.
Wow didn't know the theme song to "Night Patrol" was a cover. I like them both. This one has more soul and laid back tempo.
oh hell yes , i have a beat up tape of this, cant wait to rip this..... M.O.N.E.Y. SPELLS LOVE
This is pure magic ❤ I love this
I'm planning on doing this so I can add a bigsby after the tele bridge. I just don't like the strat style trems, too stiff and can't get that gentle warble. Just hoping the tuning can cope with it!
Sounds good, obviusly because we're talking about Sabbath, but this cover is disgusting!
You're smoking CRACK!!! This is the SHIT!!
I know it's been two years since you made this video, but we are kindred spirits. The Flat-out 442 s really my favorite casting. I told another customizing friend that I was looking to have some people make me some customs f thus casting for my collection. I believe the green version was a Canada release in a set. Kind of like O Pee Chee versus Topps baseball cards in the 80's.
Great album, the best Johansen ever did after the Dolls. I've got the LP. The CD release ups the game with an encore featuring both Sylvain Sylvain and Johnny Thunders though.
This is The Bottom Line show with Andy Warhol in the house. Found it on CD quite a few years ago 👌🏻
Thanks man, thought I was going mad when I listened to the other, apparently full show. It just didn’t sound right, especially the mix and sound on Donna. This is such great rock n roll. Have treasured this LP for 46 years now.
Praise the lord past the addition they got phil lewis back later on
Just discovered this c. D. Why don't they have it here for sale? Here After all l a guns is an american band Shouldn't have to get an american band's c d's on Import ridiculous And damn stupid too
I think this is just a super early version of "I Found You"
I saw David Jo and this group at the Showplace in Dover N.J. They blew the roof off of the place! I have the original radio station only pressing of this album. Its is a keeper!
great song 🤘
Thank you!! Dollette butterflyin
best record 😎👍
Nah. Their best is the album Tales from the Strip...and Tracii wasn't in the band at the time.
Something about this reminds me of The Beach Boys.
I was just happy to find a decent used copy
Mel was there Love u Bob and Stoddards
Didn’t know they had Bricks recorded back then
Fairy 9
Is that the sound of the roof lifting off during Girls?
Bottom Line was one of the most ideal venues ever, sorely missed...
You're so wrong about it not staying in tune when you block the bridge. If you block it with 5 springs and/or a block of wood, the bridge will NOT move and will NOT hinder tuning. At that point, its either the nut, or the tuners. The nut is the problem when it comes to tuning stability on any guitar 99.9999999999% of the time.
I later found out that with this guitar - it's the string trees that are the weak point that cause it to go out of tune and that removing them cures most of the problem. Most super sonic ownership remove the trees and find it cures the issue. One case where the nut isn't the biggest problem. Furthermore, the stock trem block was trash anyway, it's made out of pop metal and the string ball ends get stuck and it's impossible to easily re-string, so I don't feel bad about the modification. Basically this is a guitar that was engineered all wrong but looks cool.
As a short scale collector, it can be a bunch of things 99.99999% of the time.
Top show! ! ! ! !
Modded mine with bare knuckle picks ups, brute force humbucker in the bridge, true grite single coil in the neck, and a coil split in the bridge
Very cool!! It is still one of my favorite guitars - despite the weaknesses
One of the best bands ever very underrated their music is excellent and very exciting... fuckin rocks a bad ass band
epic 🎉 post 🤙🏼

Yes!! Looks a village people wannabe!
This is so awesome!!
Thank you for your support! 🙌
Very nice work and editing 👍
saw him play this live at dillions disco westwood ca. 80-81, i think there was a better version than this 45. loved it then, not so important now. maybe the 12" is better.
Where did you find them
I heard a show at The Paradise in Boston that was broadcasted live with The David Johansen band supporting Blondie. I had a tape of it once.
You mean Blondie Chaplin, and that was a different band...
Thank you very much for your upload! 40 years have passed since I listened to this spine-shivering killer LP. I lost the LP and then bought the official CD album with more songs remixed in 90’s. I was disappointed with the mix of the official CD, as I was much impressed with the mix and sound quality of the original LP. Now I feel as if my long lost friend came back to me at last!
This is just weird. I mean at least pick a high energy sabbath song and do your own twist
I saw them in 1978 at a modest venue. The place self identified as a nightclub. It was a literal brick shoebox, a couple of 100 feet long, and maybe 50 feet wide. The band set up at one end. You could see the whites of their eyes. The wall behind them was obscured by Marshal amps stacked two high. We had to wait outside while they did a sound check. Oddly enough, it seemed like they went through the entire set. The vocals were completely understandable through the brick wall. David had a tremendous amount energy, and command of the stage, such as it was. The stage was really the floor. Before Personality Crisis ended David walked off the stage. Syl came up stage and begged the audience to yell and clap for him to come back. Then he ran off stage and brought David back by carrying with one arm, but David ran off stage again. Syl ran after him and dragged him back, and he finished Personality Crisis. This performance was one, if not the best that I have seen. As I said, it was a fairly small space, and this was the loudest performance I have ever heard, but still mixed to perfection. My ears truthfully rang for 3 days. A little tinnitus anyone.
Hanx for sharing that . I only can listen to it over & over . What sound I'm obsessed with this album much too much too much
You saw a good show, pity you don't remember what happened...
Have loved this album for 45 years,..... those guitars !!
Johnny Rao, one of the greatest unknowns ever...
One of the greatest one n done bands in seventhies
What does that mean?
