The Grass is High! | 1995 MTD Tradesman Push Mower
Grass got a little high. Decided to break out the ole 1995 MTD Tradesman for a little mowing action. The Tradesman series was built by MTD for Sam’s Club. Dont see many of these anymore with the old school big bike wheels.

Had the ole 8243 out today mowing the yard. This mower was a gift from a friend of mine, love those ole F engines and the big side bag.

Mowing the grass at the house today. Started out with the 86 Lawn-boy 8243 till the kill cable snapped. Had to grab another machine to finish the job.
What kind of setup do you have on this? Head tension? Bridge height? I have a 69 Scruggs model I got pretty recently. Trying to get er dialed in.
@@OldBanjer Idk, think I just had a 5/8” on it and tightened till it sounded good to me. I’ve since then put a 11/16th on it and that really brought stuff out that the 5/8” couldn’t. Vegas have a cool heel adjustment where you can use just about any size bridge you want
