We have a 1984 capri rs turbo, wife's dad passed.....he bought new overseas....sitting in garage with 30k....running when parked. Charcoal gray, great shape, complete.....any value? Could it be a show car?

My first car back in the mid 90's was a 86 Capri, bought without an engine for $200 bucks. We went the other direction and put a 2.3 turbo engine out of a wrecked 86 SVO, Super fun car for a 16 year old kid. I've had many Mustangs since but that Capri will always have a special place in my heart, have no idea where it went after i sold it.

When you fully dial it on,please post some 60-130 clips! im trying to find some for lightnings with upgraded blowers but info is scarce.

Does the intercooler have air directed to it ?

Good job putting that SVO engine in the 1979 Capri , the Turbo 2.3 engines put in the 1979 cars was just not reliable and didn’t have an intercooler and because that 2.3 had never been set up to have a turbo “ ford just put a crappy turbo on a non performance 2.3 “ and because it wasn’t set up with performance internals and the turbo wasn’t cooled they broke allot and the turbos didn’t last long, I know because I had one of those crappy 1979 cobra mustangs and what made it a cobra was only the stupid stickers that’s it ! No performance parts at all ! It had like 134 horsepower, pathetic ! ford should be ashamed to have sold those to people ! I got mine for only $400 and it was only 4 years old , the guy who had it was just glad to get rid of it and the turbo went bad on me so I had it for 2 months and I got $1,200 for it and I was happy to get rid of it.

This is my dream car. Loved your Godzilla swap on the other one. Fingers crossed it’ll be me someday.

Great Video, I have a similar problem, swapped out new relay fuse and vehicle started several times. Before reverting back to same old issue. Any advice.

I have a problem with my truck could u please help its a complete bone stock 03 lightning jus recently died on me in my garage i barely drive it i jus start it once an while jus to make sure it starts so jus recently i started it an it was running for like 5-10mins then in jus died without no hesitation i check the fuses relay an where still ok check the pump an its pushing fuel out the line when i went to check the fuel rail an push down on the Schrader valve there wasnt fuel that spits out

Where can I get the Holley screen?

The European version of this engine is 2 ltr. And you have to take the head off to change the camshaft the head has only 3 main bearings and the engine is carburettor

Thanks for posting. I've got a Boport 2.5 that I'll be swapping in (and adding a Pimp ECU, wide band, etc.) this summer. I have a Mercedes-Benz SOHC valve spring compressor that works perfectly on the 2.3. It hooks under the cam and pushes straight down on the retainer.

My first car as a teenager was a 1979 Capri 5.0 RS white with the red stripes. I get emotional when I watch these channels.

Make sure when you order this gauge you either order it directly from aeroforce and customize it or if you use lethal performance call in the order. I made the mistake of ordering the one they show online but its for 2011 plus models and believe me it will not work lesson learned here, for some reason they do not have the other options listed on their website for now.

What about if you've replaced fuel hat with pumps, all grounds are good. Replaced all relays, ignition switch map sensor, crank trigger , and so on, still no spark to coils.

Hey idk if you do work on other jobs? I live in providence and need a new engine in my 2000 f150 Harley Davidson edition which trans is good but I blew the engine idk thinking the chains so I’m strapped like 3500$ and need help but could of course come up with more but I’m disabled and don’t want too loose the truck get towed when the snow falls so trying too find a way. I have aaa and can have it towed too you if you have space and time too work with me ? It’s a Florida truck and don’t want too loose it she’s my baby and I have a matching 99 new edge gt convertible same scheme color wise so want too take the time too find someone help me get this truck back in the know and start my own so I can help out also I just can’t handle a swap or whatever when I am broke down on the street no Parking great time of year lol but she’s registered lol

i just recently did my egr delete and turkey pan mod and i ended up not having to use a tap to start the plug so strange i'm wondering if different years tapped the pan differently then others.
