A rarity, WDM3D #11239 homed at ERS (ERNAKULAM) diesel locomotive shed pulls 06487 Mangaluru Central-Kabaka Puttur Express Special into Mangaluru Junction. I have seen WDM2, WDM3A, WDG3A in ERS's orange yellow livery, but seeing a WDM3D in this iconic livery was a total surprise !!!

A pair of EMDs consisting WDG4D #70604 WDG4 #12567 both homed at PUNE diesel locomotive shed, in charge of different wagons carrying metal coils, skip Badami at good speed. Enjoy the honking & the humming !!! The train waiting on opposite platform was 07377 Vijayapura-Mangaluru Central Special Fare Express powered by WDP4D.

Scheduled halt of my 17307 Mysuru-Bagalkot 'Basava Express' at Almatti was stretched for half an hour, as oncoming freight train was expected for crossing through this single line section. It came with a pair of honking, mourning & hissing WDG4 #12882 #12683 PUNE diesel locomotive shed.
