+smokeandfly Thank you! The economy cabin still was fitted with their older long haul product, but it was well maintained, and quite comfortable given the relatively short flight time. It was also nice to have access to the IFE for a couple of hours. All in all I'd say it was a nice cabin.

Yes, in economy and economy plus its 3 by the window, 3 in the center row, and 3 by the next window. Most airlines adopted a 3-3-3 for their 777-200s, with a few notable exceptions being the likes of American and United, who opted for a 2-5-2 approach. On 777-300's (mostly ER), many airlines are opting for a 3-4-3 layout, with some exceptions retaining the conventional 3-3-3

The 777 is enormous in person! What really stands out obviously are the engines, but the whole aircraft is really a sight to behold.

You deliver documents and get to fly for free as the company covers everything .Of course the company sends you where the clients is if but that way you jet off everytime to a different destination .

Hi mrhpijl. I would seriously consider upgrading to economy comfort. The difference in legroom is pretty substantial, and at 6 foot 4, it will make your journey much more comfortable. The upgrade is not overly expensive, at least I don't believe so. That said, I would look into it. Hope that helps!

I think its too late for upgrading now :(. I am travelling with my mom and sister. They both are pretty short, so they aren't intrested in upgrading. But thank you anyway :)

TSBA92 btw, we booked row 41 seat G H J (on the right side of the plane). According to seatguru, row 41 is in front of the toilets. They also say the seats may recline less than a 'normal' seat. I think you are at row 41 at 1:10. Looks like the seats have lots of room to recline, What do you think?

mrhpijl Often times seats that are placed against a wall like that because of the bathrooms do recline a bit less, they don't allow them to go back the full way. If there is any way possible to move up a row I'd recommend it.

Hi Adrianair747. I wouldn't say it was "awful" per say, but given that its an island airport owned by the government that only sees traffic in the summer for the most part, it certainly does not seem to make a concerted effort to stay up to date. Even if the incentive was there, I'm not entirely sure they could afford any serious repaving or re-modeling, but since they only see meaningful traffic for 3-5 months a year, they probably figure it isn't worth the cost. However, the island of Santorini itself is absolutely fantastic!
