To go totally brushless you don't have to do it his way. Both my v912 and v913 are brushless main and tail but I use a flysky fs-ia6 receiver 30a esc for main motor and 12a esc for the tail motor and a hobby king gyro to control the tail Oh and I'm using a flysky fs-i6 transmitter but a standard 912 or 913 transmitter should work as they use the flysky protocol but the fs-i6 is a way better transmitter that costs very little and gives way more control

Idk why mine has control problems. Something to do with the balancing bar, the wind will pick up and I'll try to go the opposite way it's going and it will try to counteract the wind, but the bar keeps trying to tilt the other way and I lose control

mine up and flew away the first time I practiced with it using the practice rig with balls. this was also brushless upgrade kit . i had no transmitter control. i think the receiver failed.

'm from Brazil. I adapted the brushless kit in my 913 now lack the tail rotor, I can put the same as you used using the original electronic adding an esc? Specifications tail rotor?

Hey Don I've run into a problem. I can't get the rudder motor to arm. Could you possibly tell me what brand esc you are using for the tail. I have HK 18-20A SS series for the turnigy 1811 and it wont arm in the rudd channel. It will arm in the throttle. All servos are working and main arms fine. Hobbypartz hasn't been much help in finding a solution.

Thanks for the info. If you want to reinforce the swashplate and get more flights, try this link to a RCGroups mod. Since I've reinforced mine I haven't had to replace a swash. That's great! Already have one on the way. I do have one question though. On the main motor ws-wk-21-004 did you use a different pinion? The one that comes on it is so small it doesn't look like it meshes well with the main gear.

First I just want to say you've done what many of us at RCGroups.com have been trying to do for some time. Great job on the video and helo. I just wish I had the skills to do the conversion you've done. Do you think a conversion could be done with a 6 channel Spektrum or Orange Rx? Or maybe the Tactic (AnyLink) line of Tx/Rxs? I would like to do it with almost any Rx except for Walkera. They change so often from what I read and also have the Devo line of Txs. It sounds like the Rx must have the capability to run 2 ESCs but I have no knowledge of which ones have that capability.

the rx 2442 from hobby partz works perfect!!!!!!!!!!!! now you can make any 150-250 size heli into a totally brushless system. Thanks Barry Lemley for the info. HAPPY FLYING !!!!!!!!!!!!

Just checked them out It looks the same as a Walkera rx2442. I asked hobbypartz if it will bind to the Walkera 2402 transmitter. waiting for response. Thank you so much for the info. I have been looking for this receiver for almost a year and just about give up. This receiver makes it possible to make almost any 180-250 class fixed pitch helicopter totally brushless. this receiver can run 2 ESC's one for main motor one for tail motor. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
