    For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, [a]“Take, eat; this is My body which is [b]broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes. 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

    So god says “I am all powerful. I have a plan and you are a part of it!” Then one day he’s like “oh shit, I didn’t see this coming, look how bad these people that I made are!” Then he continues “well the only way to handle this is to exterminate these people made in my image, yes I’ll kill all who do not recognize me or worship me. I’ll kill the ones who do not follow me and the ones that do not believe as I do!” And then we write books about him and worship him…. 🤦‍♂️

    If you only believe in one god while there are hundreds of thousands of gods recognized by so many religions then we aren’t that far off. You believe in 1 out of those thousands and I believe in 0. It’s always interesting to me how each religion claims, CLAIMS without proof, that their god or religion is the correct one. Religion is just a toy and I don’t want to play with your toy. I like baseball and I won’t make you play or try to explain it to you if you don’t want to hear it. Don’t make me play your sport or listen to how it works. I don’t want it. It doesn’t make sense and I’ve never, nor has anyone else, ever seen proof.

      @@jazzyjace1 what has been scientifically proven exactly? The global flood? It's kind of strange that we have other, unbroken, civilizations that didn't seem to notice that they were all dead and under water. You won't find one, not one single scientific source that would claim that it's even possible for the whole world to be flooded, let alone one source that would say it actually happened. China had written language a thousand years before the flood was supposed to have happened, and yet, they never seem to mention it. They also were speaking and writing a different language, even though the tower of Babel hadn't happened yet. Very strange

    • @brandonbartz3718
      @brandonbartz3718 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@33490. Show you the proof of what? That a global flood didn't happen? You want to see all the historical data of literally dozens of civilizations that lived right through it uninterrupted? Civilizations that the people that wrote the Bible never could have known about? Or, do you reject the common timeline that the church follows as far as when the flood happened? Do you think it's talking about a time maybe 150,000 years ago? If you accept the common understanding of the old testament, then the global flood happened during many different relatively advanced civilizations that weirdly weren't killed off by a global flood. They also were speaking different languages well before God supposedly confused everyone's language. So, global flood didn't happen and neither did the tower of Babel. By the way, this isn't how belief should work. Someone in a book makes a wild claim, your default shouldn't be "prove to me that it never happened". That's the opposite of how anyone should approach things. You should be saying "wow, that's a wild claim, I wonder if there is any evidence to support that claim". Instead, you think it's up to everyone else to prove it to you that it didn't happen. Do you know how crazy that is? Also, there is literally mountains of evidence that it didn't happen. Despite any documentary you've watched about boat shaped rocks on Turkish mountains, there is zero evidence that the flood did happen. And there would be all kinds of evidence of it happening. Or, do you believe in a trickster god that hides all the evidence we should find? Weirdly, the current field of geology was started by a creationist Christian that set out to find the evidence of the global flood. What he found instead was evidence of a much older earth than he originally thought and he laid the ground work for the current field of geology. In fact, there is a lot of scientific fields that were started in the exact same way and none of them have found the evidence they set out to find, instead, they find evidence of a natural world. I'm not making the claim that there is no god or that there is no supernatural. What I am saying is, there should be evidence for a global flood, but there is none. Not one bit of evidence. At best, you can look at individual claims, with your presupposition and ignore all the other evidence and walk away confident that the flood happened. Then, I suppose you can go on TH-cam and demand commenters to prove you wrong. There isn't one single secular scientist that would be able to affirm a global flood. Not one. And there should be thousands.

      @heroin-blanket meh the most complex question anyone could ask and the one we may never answer is why is there anything? Science may one day tell us how consciousness works, how to travel through time, what is past the edge of the universe, and so on but why and where did it all come from, seems an almost impossible question. Our universe being created by a higher being seems more likely than not. Since as far as we know, when humans brings things into being it's because we intends to do so.

    • @fryingpanvan
      @fryingpanvan 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@chazzbranigaan9354 I'm going to do my best to keep this short. -The Big Bang Theory is a scientific theory, so it's not just some hypothesis or guess; it's numerous hypotheses with proven evidence linked to the Theory itself. In short, it's a bunch of evidence backing up numerous hypotheses that ultimately supports the idea of the Big Bang. -The Big Bang is an event that marks the beginning of time and space as we know it. What was before that? A singular point of infinite density. When that point expanded, it released a ton of energy and mass. Think of these questions: what came before God and where did God come from? You might say there was nothing before him, and that answer is, in a way, the same way we explain the singularity. -What's outside the edge of the universe? Some say nothing because the universe is believed to be infinitely expanding. Some say a bunch of other universes. Some also say that there really isn't an edge because the way we think of space geometrically applies more to phenomena on Earth. We know where up is on Earth, but that also changes based on where on the planet you are. If we were floating around a random point in space, we wouldn't really have an up. Asking about beyond the edge really depends on the idea of an edge. - For all we know the universe could exist for literally any reason. It also could just exist for no reason at all, and our existence and experiences really come down to our perception of neurochemical reactions, electrical stimulation, and probability. - Religion serves a purpose to explain phenomena and experiences in our day to day lives. If you believe, that's great. If you don't, that's great. My main issue is non-answers, when you're asked a question, but don't give an answer. It's a complex question, so you can just say that, but it's disingenuous to hop around to avoid saying you don't know or saying that it's not simple. - The Big Bang theory isn't even the only scientific explanation for existence, it's just the most common one. Like the Bible isn't the only theological explanation.
