Sorry for the late response, am glad you found my video helpful, so for the the crotch I won’t be able to give you an accurate measurement but what you can do is, sit on a flat surface like a chair and measure from your waist down to where your butt touches the chair, that should give you an accurate measurement for your crotch another way to do this is to measure from your waist down to the length of your desired trouser length and from the crotch down to the same desired trouser measurement then subtract the two figure what ever that gives you that is your crotch. For the back the bottom part of your crotch, your hip measurement divided by 4 the should give you one part of your pattern for trouser now measure the one part and divide by four whatever that gives you, take it and extend it to the top part of the back for example my hip is 39/4 that will give me 9.75, this 9.75 will be divided again by 4, so that’s 9.75/4 that gives me 2.4, I will then take this 2.4 and extend it at my waist line, take note this should only be done at the back reason being because of the butt so that when you wear your trouser it will sit well on the waist, I hope I answered your question correctly and again I apologize for the late response

Am glad you loved it, so for the waist measurement, it has to be the same measurement with your hip, reason being that your going to pass a piece of fabric through it to gather it, for your crotch, I will give you two way to get your crotch measurement, so for the crotch measurement, sit on a flat surface and measure from your waist to down to the flat surface that your sitting on that should give you and accurate measurement, another method is measuring from your waist down to your desired trouser length and also measure your inseam, your inseam is from your crotch down to the same desired trouser measurement, the subtract the two measurement for instance my waist to my ankle is 45, my inseam which is from my crotch to my ankle is 35, now 45-35=10, my crotch measurement is 10inches, I hope you find this helpful

What it means is that your sewing machine tension is too tight, that is what causes the tread to keep cutting

Check your tension, it located the left side of the sewing machine where you pass your thread, if it’s too tight, loosen it up, then check your bobbin holder, it’s that plate you insert your bobbin winder, if it’s too tight, loosen it as well, I hope this helps
