At 3:32 if you look at it in slow motion it's not as bad as it looks like at first. He starts the swing from higher and when he hits the ball it's much lower. I think it was the right call from the referee.

All I know is that it's standard in all American sports. I think it makes sense, because if you're a newcomer you don't have to know how many minutes a period is. It's more important how much time is left than for how long they have been playing.

Yeah more versitile and better stickhandling I’d say. But Rudd had a longer reach and was better at protecting the ball and ofc he was also one of the best playmakers and passers ever so I would still say Rudd was a much better player than Alpo as Alpo needs to produce more forward. Anyways in terms of stickhandling and control one of the best ever.
