I've finally decided to learn how to use MIDI so I wrote a Cello track for an old song I wrote a while back. Really pleased with how it turned out. The Cello sample was from 'Musio' which I'm absolutely loving.

In a cracking mood today so had a first stab at recording a spiffy new song with all the trimmings... even chopped up and reassembled some mad, lolloping drums courtesy of @sotosoundnashville. Mercifully, all seems to have worked surprisingly well!

This is great Chris I love it. Production quality is amazing. Check out Spitfire LABs the free stuff on there is amazing by way of acoustic instruments. What DAW are you using now? Can highly recommend Ableton Live Suite. Keep writing and producing your music's excellent and you got skills with lyrics.

I'm (very) slowly how to use MIDI (and a little keyboard)... and I downloaded and bought a catalogue of amazing virtual instruments from a site called MUSIO. Bassoon, Cello, Brass, Flute... They're stunning quality!
