Nice deck profile. Wish I could afford ground xeno but unfortunately I can't, even after reprent.
As a war rock fanatic as well have thought about rookie warrior lady? Its an extra earth warrior that synergies well into the battle phase as well.
Make another list with Ryzeal. It mixes really well with
How are you getting out those fusion monsters?
Id try the card Rookie Warrior Lady with it as a hand trap When they atk your warrior type monsters, reduces their atk by the monsters original atk, when Rookie Warrior Lady is in the GYD you can move a earth warrior monster *every war rock monster* to your hand. Which in alot of cases that card going to my hand found a way easily onto the field shortly after that.
@@mathewerenberger7275 I have the card but hadn't done enough testing with it. I opted out of including it as I couldn't recommend a good ratio for it Thank you for the comment my friend 🤟👏
Nice profile. Have you considered playing Bahamut Shark and Todally Awesome? Endymion and Crowley can be used to xyz summon the shark, allowing you to cheat out toad and get an easy negate.
@@samtdl8639 yes absolutely 😁 I chose not to include it for this profile as the play is a bit niche. But it's an optimal play for those who wish to go for it 👍
I play war rock exclusively on master duel and make platinum every season u should add pyrite knight and the new flame swordsman support
@@JuiceLeeLLC I've messed around with pyrite knight! Do you think it's worth playing?
@@SacredCards. Definitely worth playing it can help put more war rocks on the field during the battle phase and generate a token you can attack into to get the effects if need be. The flame swordsman engine is about 9 cards and works well with war rock surprisingly.
@JuiceLeeLLC I'm intrigued. I don't actually have the flame swordsman cards other than a few copies of the link 2. As an archetype I'd like to pick up the cards to mess around with or at least play test with. In terms of cards theory; (as I haven't read many swordsman effects) does the fire warrior conflict with earth warrior conditions or does the engine play well around it? I appreciate the discussion 👏👍
@SacredCards. The flame swordsman engine doesn't really disrupt the things you want to do with war rock and it has a card call flame swordsrealm that boost all your monsters by 1k attack
@@JuiceLeeLLCGonna need to see that list boi, currently making up a War Rock deck love to see what you got cooking
New to yugioh (and card games in general), started master duel a few months ago, but getting really tempted to buy the cards. Though probably want 2 decks so I can play against my dad or something. Keep going back and forth on whether to buy the Witchcrafter and Live Twin singles on TCGPlayer or just buy a structure deck since that seems to be what many videos recommend (though uncertain about which ones, maybe Spirit Charmers and Traptrix... though less interested in those ones than Witchcrafters/LiveTwins). In master duel I'm playing mostly the same stuff, though instead of the performages I have one copy of Blazing Cartesia and one of 3 white forest monsters: Rucia, Elzette, and Astellar (I think their art more matches the cute witches than the other archetypes deck lists include... other than Cartesia). I don't use any of the white forest traps/spells... but slightly tempted to include just Tales of the White Forest. They're mainly there to give other options since I keep finding with pure Witchcrafters they just negate the tribute and then I just have to pass turn. Plus since you just discard witchcrafter spells so long as you get a witchcrafter back on the field its fine. The fact that Astellar can bring out Cartesia to fuse Vice Madame. Also Rciela can bring out Edel/Madame Verre/Golem Aruru. Then Astellar comes back out when you discard a spell for cost. I keep getting tempted to see if theres a way to fit Albaz for Cartesia, to maybe get out dragoon but I don't think it makes sense. I don't include Witchcrafter Masterpiece cause I don't understand why its good yet. Though I suspect its probably because I don't use reasoning either (haven't crafted it yet). I usually have at most 4 spells in the GY to use Masterpiece, and at that point it doesn't make sense to me. Other than the White Forest Synchros and Vice Madame the only extra deck monster I put in was Quintet Magician.
@@christopherdyson1158 you put a lot of thought into the deck. I love your ideas and would like to see some of your concepts! Masterpiece is a fun in archetype trap that I made love by including multiple copies of each spell. I like profiling in a way that if I'm updating and making changes to a deck month to month, I can provide a deck list that takes advantage of different strengths the archetype has, overcoming weaknesses and most of all building a deck with balance that provides a good foundation for players to take and leave whatever they choose. Regardless I really appreciate your well written card theory 👏 thanks for tuning in
Deck looks really solid. While I'm familiar with War Rock I don't play them, I instead play a going second version of Amazoness. I want to give this deck a chance as it doesn't play from the extra deck and D Barrier won't affect it. A suggestion would be to try playing Ultimate Slayer, I've really enjoyed using that card into established boards
@@keevs2933 thank you for your comment my friend 👏 it's a fun deck and I love that you play amazoness. War Rock is rather inexpensive as far as deck core prices and I recommend it to anyone who wants a good time playing simple yugioh. Ultimate slayer is a fantastic option and I'd likely include it for a future profile. I don't believe I had access to the cards at the time of filming. Best of luck out there! 😁
I do recommendtrying out Wannabee.
@@travismcdonald2713 I've used the tech in dinomorphia
Those are some great ratios overall. I have been long saying (and have many replays showing) how good Lost Wind is in Traptrix. That card alone has won me so many games. I currently run it at 2, but there are many times I would rather have it at 3 in the deck. Also been thinking about bumping Trap Hole Nightmare up to 2, as it is really good in the current meta. I often have found it too that hand traps can really hold the deck back more than help. Traptrix is a really consistent deck, but too many hand traps often throw off that consistency. Personally, I prefer having at least two of the field spells to bait disruption when I open both Pudica and Traptrip Garden, as it eats an interruption from my opponent that might have otherwise been used on Sera. I am not a huge fan of Parallel eXceed (especially playing in Master Duel were Maxx "C" is legal), but I respect the reasoning of running 2 with 1 Shade Brigandine, as it seems like a well thought out choice. One thought might be to add Full Armored Utopic Ray Lancer with your increase trap lineup. It is a great card for breaking boards and can make use of an expended Xyz monster while utilizing a potentially useless S/T card out of your hand. Nice profile though. I really prefer more trap focused Traptrix decks. I just do not think it works as well with "modern" deck design of shoving as many hand traps in it as possible, as it is not a 1 card full combo deck. It plays much more to the ground, simplifying the board state with unexpected and unique interruptions, and your build seems to be playing to that strength.
@@stoic_hero_tcg First off I want to start by saying how much I appreciate you taking the time to share your insight! It's a surreal experience being able to share deck lists that create an environment for players to discuss card theory and favourite ways to play the deck. I'm always interested in hearing others experiences. Though I have many hours of experience testing a profile before it's tuned and balanced enough to share with this broad community. (Without upsetting people 😂) Which is why my channel puts a huge emphasis on reminding players that they always have a choice and encourage them to build a deck in a way that satisfies them. My goal is to provide the best foundation possible, sharing my own thoughts and opinions while encouraging others to do the same. Adjust your strategy to suit your environment whether it be a tournament or casual concepts with friends. It's comments like yours that affirm my goal has seen success! Special sacred thanks to you my friend 👏
I still think the 2-2 split on Pudica-Field spell is better and more versatile overall You must live in a world where Pudica never gets handtrapped and I envy you but I do not. My pudica successfully resolves about 67.8% of the time. Drawing multiple Pudica is just as much a dead card in your opener as the potential to draw both copies of the Garden, Plus the potential to draw a Pudica+Garden in the opener while still having a Garden in deck is also a great bait for a handtrap to allow your more important Myrmeleo or Mantis to resolve. I will also comment that the chance to draw both Exeed running only 2 and making it less useful is way higher than running 3 and drawing 3 at the same time. Plus 3 is more versatile for sideboarding, I will typically side one out. Regardless those are just my opinions, Good deck profile either way
@@nk-qg1njClearly my world is all sunshine and rainbows! This is the card theory and struggle I live for when it comes to yugioh! You make solid points and math is something that always makes sense to me in terms of deck building. That said I agree with your ratios and I've featured them on my channel before. That's the beauty and fun of testing. Even when I've got it "perfect"; I always want to try something different to determine if the change is for better or worse but by engaging with the community and sharing my ideas during the profile create these great discussions with other players who are new to the deck all the way up to masterclass. Thank you for the comment 👏
9ukbmm4 Here is the Neuron deck code for my version of Traptrix that I play if you are interested in having a look
My list is quite similiar except a pot of prosperity instead of shade brigandine and some handtrap choices. I still like to run 3 imperm, 3 ash, 3 gozen (like you) and then 3 shifter and 3 nibiru. I also like the idea of playing torrential tribute as the extra deck traptrix monsters aren't affected by normal traps. However, I have that list since well over a year. Need to update it and there are some options like Ragnaraika or the utopia package. But it's great to see a traptrix deck profile again as it isn't even a rouge deck anymore.
@@red_dll you nailed it right there. I wanted to change it up a little bit more showing players how versatile the deck can be. I like the idea of strong going second cards to make up the decks weakness. I've included torrential tribute on the last list. Over the years it's fun changing up the deck to either compete or just just fun testing new variants. I love talking Trix. When I first picked up the deck, shade brigandine was the goat best starter before holuetuea 😁 I'm partial to it
Can you do some combo guides and some game play even if its sped up to keep pace of video just to help understand what the deck can actually do
@@ingalsodd4753 I really do want to put up more content like that. I'm confident in my ability to pilot the deck and show players how the deck works together so well. It's hard being a content creator who puts a lot of pressure on themselves. Sometimes I really want to do something but feel it may not be well received or the video won't get any traction. That said I do want to be known for someone online who has go to Nouvelles content. It really is my favourite deck in terms of lore and playstyle 😁
Hmmmm, no triple copies of Hungry Burger and Hamburger Recipe? I dunno, I dunno... 🤔🤔🤔 Nah, I'm kidding. Another great Nouvelles list! The field spell at 3 is quite a change, I've never had much issue getting it even at 1. But I guess if you just draw it, then you can always search for something else. I hope these aren't all the Nouvelles cards we'll ever get, it would be fun to get a few extra toys.
@@CommodoreCards I wanted to turbo the burger!! I believe a pile list may suit playsets 😁 As far as the restaurant goes you nailed it as far as my logic being one of the best cards in the archetype with a search if I activate multiple The archetype hints at another pendulum monster (possibly the chef portrayed in the artwork of reccette de viande?) I love to believe the creator of this beautifully designed archetype has something very special in store for us. A potential extra deck monster perhaps 🙏 Always a great discussion my friend 👏 thank you for tuning in!
Why does this differ that much compared to the October list? The field spell ratios specially
Great question my friend! 👏 I just went over my October video to be certain. The October profile was a 45 card list. 40 cards for this build. The previous profile played 1 copy of each Nouvelles ritual monster. Whereas this profile runs 2 copies of levels 3, 5, and 6. I ran 1 copy of the restaurant and only 1 copy of each recipe ritual spell before. Now playing 3 restaurants and 2 copies of each ritual spell. The October list included a slot dedicated to trias hierarchia/benten. December does not. The previous profile also used 3 pre preparation of rites. I adjusted the ratios for this build to include the 1 pre preparation of rites and 1 preparation of rites for the idea of falling victim of having two pre-prep in my opening hand created the idea i should have more diversity This profile did not include the 3 and 2 gen Ken package as a 5 card engine while making the note for those who prefer a 40 card list to simply not include it as my profiles serve a foundation for the player to suit their playstyle. Finally aside from minor changes to the extra deck; this video features 8 slots dedicated to interruptions being 3 ash, 2 Veiler, 2 moonlit chill and 1 called by. The October list had ratios adjusted to include 12 slots for disruption in the form of 3 ash, 2 Veiler, 3 impermanence, 2 chalice, 1 book of moon with 1 called by the grave. Thank you for the comment. While making for a great discussion; it was a good opportunity to also appreciate how versatile a deck can be if the logic makes sense to the player building the deck 👍
I like 2 pudica, 2 field and 3 shade 0 exceed. Shade is way better to draw in multiples and it has synergy that exceed doesn't have. Exceed enables Nibiru.
@@NinthSettler I agree with you're logic. I've tested both options for years now and seldom satisfied. HOWEVER.. I did not consider putting nibiru in the picture 🤯👏
I agree in the 2-2 split but Exceed doesn’t play into nib and allows raff on 5th summon and brig is horrible going second if you see purge evenly or imperm all cards you’re more than likely to play in the deck.
@jacobychauncey Great points my friend. I meant to mention purge as a very viable option for players
It doesn’t enable nibiru tho. If you draw exceed you always use it on the sera summon. Making the second exceed from deck the 4th summon and 5th summon being rafflesia for nib protection. So it’s a free rafflesia before you extend further with holeutea, campa vesi ect. It definitely sucks draw multiples tho. I play 2 exceed currently and bumped campa up to 3 for consistency.
man its been forever since we talked i hope you are doing well! great vid by the way!
It's good to see you back! My friend I have been working hard at making the best content I can.
How do you feel about the Ragnaraika cards? Do you think they add enough to traptrix to warrant playing? Or are traptrix good as is? I'm still learning my way around the archetype. I do like your list. I haven't seen a deck without hand traps in so long.
First I agree with the hand trap comment 😂 I always give players a foundation and remind them they don't have to use the exact cards I'm using in the disruption slots. Certainly players can but build to suit your own playstyle. On the topic of ragnaraika. I believe they have great synergy with traptrix. I'm not able to showcase cards I don't own but I have tested variants online and I'm sure I'll post a profile in the future. Ragnaraika core is among a never ending list of other cards I'd like to pick up Great ideas my friend 👏 thank you for the comment
Love witchcrafters! Heard mumblings about a witchcrafter white forest hybrid would be interesting…
@@leandroluz8091 you heard right. I've been theorizing with the cards a bit but have yet to physically pick them up. A very nice take with the versatility of witches
Cool deck and matching mat! I like the design of those "Performage" cards
Witchcrafter's are one of my favorite archtypes.
@@XFlame13 no doubt let's go! If you have the means; net deck the build and let me know what your thoughts are. I enjoy having that discussion with other duelists 👍 Thanks for tuning in my friend 😁
Definitely a solid build, however i do have some notes 1.Personally i wouldn't use chaos max without incorporating a copy of advanced ritual art. 2. I'd use 2 copies of either jet or alternative 3.drop melody down to 2, give youe self one more flex spot or a place for a true light when you obtain it 4. Ravine and guard dragon are solid tech choices 5. What does the ib synchro do?
@@ryanbarrie9143 first off I just want to say thank you for the comment. You make some fantastic notes there and I agree ,👏 Certainly I'm working on getting some new cards. Like I dropped spirit of white. ( I was pumped on getting the secret haha) Ib is so easy to make in this deck and gives you instant access to the world legacy/chalice cards. Not like he needs any more plugs but samx1 posted a really sweet combo in his deck profile that I took note of. Thank you again for the awesome discussion my friend 😁
TY-PHON once summoned is pretty much just considered a wall against your opponent in case they try anything with their 3000+ attack monster, but it also hinders your monsters with their effects like Citadel, the superdreadnoughts, and especially Ruinforce. I suppose it's a great backup plan in case your opponent all of a sudden gets all his big boss monsters out, but if you don't have a counter to other effects he has, its pretty much a wasted gamble and even if it succeeds, it needs to leave the field if going for game with effects from your big boss monsters
@@phoenixfirebird4221 you bring a lot of logic I hadn't considered! It has been taken out recently for a go second strategy (gearframe instead of cruncher) Thank you for your comment! 👍
Cool list. i don't understand the logic behind playing Infinitrack Mountain Smasher is there a specific combo you need him ?
@@boumerxphajba no, looking back mountain smasher was not at all necessary. He was in the slot at the time. Good point to bring up 👍
Interesting list. There are just a few things that dont make sense to me and maybe you have a explaination for it. :D 1) why do you play the ruinforce 2) why 3 brutal dozer since you usually dont need 3 for metalcruncher 3) why only 2 urgent schedule 4) why no second anger knuckle and river stormer but 3 goliath 5) why no foolish burial goods + clockwork knight? I am of the same opinion as you are to play the metal cuncher over gearframe and i Play it as a modern style deck of 15 starters and 12 handtraps + 3 urgent schedule and post siding up to 17 handtraps. :D
@@xshippaix wow great stuff. I actually explain a lot of my ratios in a combo I did recently. That may explain my logic faster than explaining 😂
Is there any way of accessing varudras or infinity over nova for an omni-negate going first? I am new to this deck, it looks really interesting and I'll probably end up building it. My first deck were full otk level 10 trains with kaijus, and I wanted to try something new with machines since this is not really good in the meta. In addition, I saw vernusylph fairies being played with this as well. What are your thoughts on that?
@@tarikvaljevac7297 super good question my friend 👏 I like varudras and the other levels 10s as naturally they have great synergy with the deck. You do have to keep in mind that some of the cards I've shown lock you into Earth machines. The deck definitely does have room to include them though. Vernusylph is another package commonly played in the deck as it does provide some good consistency. Personally I tried getting into it, had fun for a while but I just like playing with the in archetype engines and filling out my disruption slots ie ash imperm or whatever you like. Many ways you can build decks around these cards depending on what you want to do. You could do a go second otk with a lot of train cards and board Breakers. Or you could try more of a combo variant with Machina gear frame or infinitrack cards. At the end of the day have fun trying new ideas and a playstyle you enjoy 👍
@SacredCards. Thanks man, sounds good, I'll definitely look into building it 😁
i janked a lot with the deck, if you happen to play gearframe you can put run the xyz armored stuff since youll have a rank4 mon naturally and the rank 5 armored xyz monster is a machine monster, so you can xyz summon varudras in your opponents turn, there is a hook though, gear frame needs unclespare which is a brick, you run gear box as a brick already and the xyz trap is a garnet ( not a brick by itself but omega not useful in hand )
Earth Machines always make for a good-looking deck! I think they printed like two or three QCRs lately between the Machinas and Ancient Gears, I need to go hunting for some of those.
@@CommodoreCards they did!? I was not aware of this.. two heads are better than one. I'll join forces with you on this quest to seek shiny machines. Great to see you tuning in my friend 👏

Would pot of extravigence be a good replacement for prosperity?
@@MrSkullMerchant good question and one I've considered. Not a bad idea. Personally I go into my extra deck enough that I don't want to banish certain cards. It's not worth it in my opinion. I'd adjust the deck if I were to try and include it 👍
@SacredCards. Ahh yes i see your point, thankyou for the reply bro 👍
I can't afford the diviner engine in master duel. Can you make a build without all the ultra rares please?
Thunder Colossus is necessary?
@@Danymo_x0 definitely not necessary. You would have to rebuild the deck to include. Not what I was going for with this build but it's an option for players who want to adjust ratios to include thunder
@SacredCards. eh I know but since I'm very undecided about the extra I don't know what to play and what is more convenient
i find that the mistake alot of players make when approaching this deck is to try to build it as an aggro deck, which it isn't. this deck will not set up really strong first turn boards. rather, this archetype is designed to be a blind second board breaking deck. also the added bonus of being able to recycle any card back into the deck makes this deck attractive to me. once you have properly summoned the Glasya it can be continuosly revived with Dyna Mondo, creating an infinite resource loop and easy spot removal. sure, there are ways to go first and ritual climb into the Balam, but i would recommend adding playsets of board breakers into the main (Nibiru, Evenly, Dark Ruler, Droplet, etc.) and 2-3 thrust to get to them. i even put 3 raigeki in the side to go along with this. this is one of my favorite decks, and i have found that a going second build is going to work with these cards. it is by no means a high tier deck, just really fun rogue deck with a medium level of consistency. usually most players matching up against this deck will have no idea how it works. your core ratios are perfect (i would bump the field up to 2 maybe), but non-engine should be board breakers.
@@theniteowl7777 beautiful insight my friend 👏 thank you for the comment and I'm planning to release a go second version of this deck as I've been messing around with blind second myself behind the scenes. I love your ideas and appreciate any chef who cooks up new recipes. Fantastic comment and great discussion! 👍
Just stumbled upon this deck recently and this video helped a lot! I do have a question though, Do you ever have trouble getting enough damage to finish the game after board wiping with Hungry Burger?
@@TitanYGO great comment and yes honestly every deck has its flaws and sometimes it can be very hard to put up 8k with this deck. Even when I include accesscode or things of that nature. Something I'm still working on the right recipe for but I don't want to include other packages that increase the engine size (which is substantial enough). For now the process is to try and gain card advantage and control the board as best I can. A good pilot can steal wins against even the best decks and there's always room for improvement. As my favourite deck I never stop thinking of ways to innovate, be creative and push the deck's ceiling further. Great question my friend 👏 thank you!
Any suggestions for side deck cards?, and are there any decks to watch out for?
@@gtboos2206 great questions my friend. Dino's do amazing going second on their own and I like to facilitate that with board breakers like storms duster raigeki and talents. As far as decks to watch out for definitely follow the meta and what's at your locals. I generally don't lend advice on stuff like this as it's changing every month it seems. Thank you for the comment 👏 best of luck!
But link 4 dont play?
@@Danymo_x0 hello my friend 👋 play accesscode if you have it for sure!
@@SacredCards. but is necessary unicorn link 3?for its evocation?
@Danymo_x0 I always liked unicorn in dinos. Easy to link into and the discard can be nice. Rarely do I go into it tho
I'm really struggling to figure this deck out. I play the scrap engine and try to make naturia beast by searching nemesis keystone with gallant granite, but idk. I feel like I brick half the time, or I don't know the combos. Maybe not knowing the combos is the real problem here lol. I want to stay on a budget with the deck either way. One ground xeno, maybe down the line I can trade for another one. Also ik how important little knight is, but I want to wait till it's super cheap. Like 2 weeks after bonanza comes out or something lol. And I do want to keep using the scrap engine even if it's not super optimal.
Wondering what you think of Grass now that its legal? Is it worth making this into a pile deck?
@@Majesticmoji I love it! I want to make a build around it for my November update. If not I'll make it the next one for sure! Thank you for your comment 👋
@@SacredCards. Awesome! would love to see your take on a 60 card ver
No cross sheep?
@@Danymo_x0 all personal preference my friend 😁
I... Don't get it 💀 why only 33 cards on main? Did I miss something?
Ahh yes I think you may have my friend. After I went through the main engine (bumped my camera) then I discussed the non engine cards I was playing in the main like ash and imperm. I believe it's a proper way to profile and helps new duelists understand the importance of balancing a deck with some disruptions. 45 in the main 👍
Finally a deck that's mostly on theme not one percent theme and ninty nine percent hand traps 😅
Thank you so much for that comment! I agree with you. Most blue eyes decks these days can't even be called blue eyes lol. They are dragon link, bystial, branded, sinful, wanted with a small splash of blue eyes package 😅 Not intentionally bashing any other players. I always encourage everyone to make their deck the way they see fit. It does however make for good conversation. Thank you my friend 👏
Blue-Eyes decks always have such a cool look to them. They're very aesthetically pleasing!
The art is desirably the best in the game. Kazuki Takahashi's work must be honoured and respected! Hope you are doing well my friend! It's always good to hear from you 🙏
Nice 3 Blue Eyes variants! So many dragons lol
I love the emoji! I was ironically turned off dragon decks for a while. A couple years ago I was playing dragon link which was a tier one deck at the time that drove me insane. Constantly running a latitude of combos through my head. I told myself I'd never play a deck so combo based ever again but blue eyes is a completely different story. I love it and have no regrets. It's extremely fulfilling to complete a deck that I've wanted to build for almost 20 years but never did
Is advisable talent tactich or small word? And what do you think of guardian chimera?
@@Danymo_x0 as I mentioned before don't want scrap package in my deck. Personally I'm not a fan but there's nothing wrong with playing it if you like it and it suits you. As for talents vs small world in dinos I think both options are just fine. Talents is more powerful but you better hope your opponent activates a monster effect to allow activation. Small world is serving me consistency as that is what I was going for with prosperity going from 3-1 copy.
so playing two talents and a small world is okay? I know the cards I played them and I feel good about them instead of prosperity
@Danymo_x0 one prosperity is fine for the deck but talents is arguably better than small world. Love it ❤️
Hi, cool budget profile , i don't have little knight nor typhoon do i lose much power by that ?
Love the new format! It's great to have all the cards on screen to summarize everything you talked about. Lots of new video uploads so quickly!
@@KentNoel-q2p thank you very much. Since I gave the channel a bit of a revamp. It's been very motivating to film. I have been sitting on material for a while but I'm happy with the way things are turning out. Thank you for your comment 👏
i also wanna tell u that i like the new format of your videos keep it up the good work, much love brotheer
I appreciate that!
