It starts with Dr. Scratchansniff going into the bathroom and sees Dot taking a shower, causing her to scream dramatically (even pouring strawberry syrup down the drain to create the blood effect). Then Dot admits that her drama skills have paid off after all.

Unpopular Opinion: Back In Action is better than Space Jam.

Hi everyone. This scene is one of the musically memorable scenes for me, because of its obvious nod to Psycho. But actually, the cue that ended up in the film wasn't the original version penned by Jerry Goldsmith, or rather, originally by Bernard Herrmann. Goldsmith used portions of "The Murder" cue from the 1960 classic film Psycho. Imagine this scene as scored with Herrmann's music for a moment. I don't know about you, but I think the music we hear in the film, as written by John Debney, adds a Looney Tunes touch by quoting "The Merry-Go-Round Broke Down" in the flutes and brings home the "it's a Looney Tunes parody" vibe, while Goldsmith's original idea of adapting music we're so familiar with can somehow knock the "fun" aspect out of the experience. I wonder what you think?

Jenna elfman's hair even looks like norman bate's disguise through the shower curtain so there is actually a lot to appreciate about this gag 😅

0:37 Using chocolate wasn't just too keep the scene light, it was actually a legit callback. When the filmed the first psycho, the fake blood wasn't dark enough to appear clearly in black and white. So they actually used chocolate since it showed up better in the film.
