I had a music teacher tell me long ago, that he thought you used more air playing flute than playing Tuba. His logic was that you use all the air going into a Tuba, whereas with a flute half of the air doesn't go into the instrument. So, basically, it all comes down to efficiency. Thanks for stopping by Gary. I find the duet system to be the easiest to learn. It's intuitive. The left and right hand mirror each other. You get the same note on the push and pull, (unisonoric), and you can play bass and chords easily for accompaniment. If you have any specific questions I'll try to help.
