Did you ever get Packout feet for the vacuum? I have the same vacuum and just ordered Packout feet for them so I can slot it on the top of my tower if I need to for a job.

I did the same thing with my setup. Ordered my bags and made slight changes to the bags to suit my needs. I run the ER bag on my right, and the LT-Max on my left with the 2-side-by-side outer bags for screws, fittings and other stuff. I ended up relocating the tape chain, cut off the leather hammer loop and changed the way the belt fed through the quick release buckle. I run the handles with the shoulder straps also.

I have Occidental Leather including a belt setup and an electrician's tote. All leather and a great set up, but Akribis has taken their design next level. I'm retired so I'll stick with what I have, but I would add in Akribis if I were still working!

I love the belt been eyeing same brand, but why do you carry everything all the time? You don’t need rough in tools when doing trim and vise versa. I know someone else who does the same thing.

I got the super belt and the es pouch coming. Cant wait to try it out.

Should u have a digital angle finder if you use this method? Cause a 23.6 degree angle is like torqueing to 56 in-lbs without a torque wrench.

Have you tried suspenders? Tbh most of the time i dont need em but when Im moving a lot and using a variety of tools i regret not having it. I always have a Veto Pro Pac Tech Pac Blackout with me tho and typically just use a tool pouch for what I need at the time

Thanks for this. Just bought that pencil and high volt screwdriver set. I have the rigid packout and I will say it is just as good for a third of the price.

I use a veto mp2 and I use a leather tape measure clip on my belt to hang the pouch off. It let's it hang lower and let's the pouch move and not be stiff to your body.

Interesting ideas on modifications. If you want to work your reamer into a regular tool klein makes a attachment with a set screw. I use that in my 14mm wera black handle full tang beater. As long as the screwdriver has some flat side you can use it and it's great on your beater to save space since your gonna have one anyways. If you want a stronger clip than toughbuilt there's a company called prolock and it's all metal version. All you have to do to make the prolock clip work on toughbuilt is file down the bottom corners a little. Hope you got some ideas. I use a occidental leather commercial setup buy I added a diamondback hammer sleeve and there on the ocl beltless retro kit. I dispise belts and when you ate on the beltless system you can lean sit kneel whatever and the bags lay down on there back on the ground without spilling out also move with you. great video. about the pilot bit, if you can snag a piece of grid wire, cut off the end at a 45 degree angle with your dykes at any length you want and put it in your drill chuck. will go through sheetrock or even wood. i keep all different lengths in my packout and they were free!

I’m a union electrician. The only thing that is needed is your basic hand tools. Contractor supplies the rest. So I don’t need to have all that stuff. Work union and you will be better off.

I use to be just like you in my younger days, I carried dual pouches, and I crammed every tool I could find in them. I felt like this made me more productive. I found out the hard way that carrying all those tools in your bags will fuck up your back. I have found that all you really need to carry is your lineman pliers, wire stripper, multiscrewdriver and channel locks. I can put in a whole job with these basic tools. Keep the rest in your tool box and keep it close by when doing those specialty jobs.
