Are you still doing custom knife orders
No, sorry. Just the leather work for now.
I totally want one, but my tyrannical state of Massachusetts says no.
Sir can't you help me where do gonna buy firing pin valve for my benjamin sheridan 392pa because here in the Philippines its hard to find the same parts or replacement kits
You would have to buy one from a US seller that ships to the Phillipines. I don't know of any specific ones that I can recommend, but there are many shops that sell airgun parts that would have the valve you need.
I get more requests about this knife than anything else I've ever made. The knife in the video was sold soon after making it. Unfortunately, due to circumstances, I am no longer making knives, and don't know when I will be able to make more. If I ever do, my subscribers will be the first to know.
Anyway back to my original comment that you never responded to anyway this is not entry level.... I may just sneak one in for $150 Canadian. Up up up they go in price and they are beautiful
You are the real McCoy! I enjoyed viewing your no nonsense video and your choice of music. I will definitely build myself one. Thank you! 🇨🇦👍
5160 steel, huh? Maybe look closer.
Right, I meant 52100. I think.
Is your new shop set up yet? I’d like one of these.
No, sorry. I'll be doing leatherwork only for the foreseeable future.
Nice. The holster should probably cover the trigger better. That is okish for 1911 as it has safety but guns like glock it should cover the trigger completely.
Very nice!
Beautiful sheath!✌️
Hey do you still have the damaged bk9 sheath?
I still have it, $45 and it's yours. If you email me at the address in the description, I'll send you an invoice.
great craftmanship, this is my fav style of sheath mount
Nice stuff
Good stuff. Love mine.
This is Exactly what I was looking for, the exact Lyre Harp stained and finished and played it looks beautiful I just got mine delivered yesterday in order to play for the PASSOVER and Sabbath's. Thank You for the detailed video, I appreciate it.
Hi do you have a email? Do you take custom orders ? If so I would like to inquire about the possibility of a custom sheath for my Buck knife. Thank you
I do take some custom orders. My email and a link to my Etsy shop are in the video description.
@@ForgeFireCustoms perfect! Thank you
Where did you get the plug for the fill port?
Ebay, there are a couple different kinds that come up if you search for them.
Thank you and I appreciate the quick reply.
You can send that knife back to buck and for $10 they will replace the blade
To hell with those 650 with the holes
You think this is entry level these things are $300 now on ebay
Who says you're good at Sharpening? You can't just say you're good maybe you're good but maybe you're no good😄
Just got mine for bk 9. awesome sheath thanks!
Beauty of a Beast, love it, want one, to poor to buy one...LOL
Beautiful knife. Just discovered yakut knives. Very interesting
Excellent video. Thanks for sharing your process!
Nice work! Your prices seem low for the quality of these sheaths.
I love the Becker BK line and I love leather sheaths. The main thing I do on sheaths is mount the snap strap so it will not contact the blade edge when pulling the blade out.
How do you do that? I'm working on a sheath for my Ontario Rat 7 and would welcome any tips. Thanks.
Thank You so much !!! Really AWESOME WORK YOU DO SIR💯‼️
I have the leather sheath with the WOLF for my BK7‼️
If you're still looking for a Blue Streak, I have one.
Nice, do you recall the mount you used to get that scope on your rifle? Nice rig, I'm finishing my build.
The red dot is just attached directly to the 11mm dovetail. You'll need some high profile rings if you want to mount a scope over the magazine.
@@ForgeFireCustoms thanks, after a little more research it seems the mount on your red dot can be flipped to accomplish that. It wasn't clear to me.
Very nice work!👋🤓👍
That's really beautiful work!
Very nice sheaths. I think your prices are too low for such well-made leather sheaths. What weight of leather are you using? Very nice work!
Very nice sheaths!
I just dont understand the design of this knife. One side is flat and the other side is curved. The flat side is hollowed out? Can you make a Hmong knife and test it against that knife?
Making it flat on one side gives it an exceptionally fine edge geometry, and also functions like a single bevel hatchet for woodworking. The hollow reduces the surface area, which reduces friction when cutting, and makes it easier to sharpen to an incredibly fine edge. There are a lot of theories about why Siberian tribes made knives like this, but in my opinion they engineered them to perform exactly the way they wanted. I have never heard of a Hmong knife, but I'll look into it.
Is it a 20 mil dovetail mount for scope on top
It's a standard dovetail mount, 11 mm I think.
I just sent you an email about the possibility of me purchasing one of these knives from you. This style and the Edwin Forrest Bowie are my favorite Bowie knife patterns.
This gun is extremely accurate, amazing for just $300.
Tune it by enlarging the transfer port, widen the the probe port, taper the valve head, take some metal off the face of the hammer stop to increase valve dwell time, polish the hammer, spring and the inside of the upper receiver, drill extra holes in the face of the valve body to improve gas flow and the polish the trigger sears. You can get more than 25ftlbs with a 14gr pellet. All that is legal in the US but not in the UK. Cracking little rifle of which I have tuned and customised many. Of late all mine have been converted to regulated high pressure air. The QB79 is a straight swap but the QB78 requires simple modification to both stock and air reservoir and the use of a QB79 gas block. I have an AR2079 .177 on HPA I have competed with in HFT for years in the UK with some success. Cracking gun, now rather dated but I won't part with it. The scope was double the price of the rifle. 😂 Whatever name is on theme it SMK, Beeman etc they are all made in the same place; Airgun Industries in China.
Здравствуйте , а какая марка стали использована?
1080 высокоуглеродистый
I found it! I just bought one of these identical knives at a garage sale this past weekend. The handle on the video is in better condition than mine. Also Nichols Bros. with the same marking. Thanks for the video.
Nice find.
What did you use to make the Lyre look that cool colour?
Minwax penetrating stain wood finish.
thank you!@@ForgeFireCustoms
How can i get one?
Through my Etsy shop, forgefirecustoms.etsy.com/listing/1476146719
That's hardcore man,LOVE that sheath. Killer job on that stitching and overall fitting seemed perfect 👍
You sold out on esty was trying too buy the one with the imprint of the WOLF 4 my BK7😢
I just listed some new ones yesterday, there is one with a wolf in stock.
Ontario was sold, but the original production crew and location are back up and running making knives again.
The BK-7 Scout is on my list.👍
What an awesome piece of history!! The holy ones don’t look as good, and are probably not as strong
I have three 650 without the holes... and I wouldn't trade them for 20 of them with the holes.
