Changes mean effort from the developer side. And yes compared to the majority of FF it's not as popular but the people who do enjoy pvp enjoy it with a passion at times

@Masietro oh don't get me wrong, I love pvp, I was more commenting my frustration on my inability to find current guides for classes( such as mch) because the changes happen so often but the players don't make new guides for them. I wish more people did play it So thank you for doing your part in the up keep.

I can type something out for you if give me time tho most of my knowledge is centered around FL and the most i currently have for mch is a FL vod on the channel but I can answer any playstyle or combos questions

It's still possible just significantly harder to pull off since you do less damage but in a sync you might be able to

@@j.renriquez9464 alright so in most cases Just duling no restriction, mnk, gnb and pld are goated Rdm and rpr fell down a teir for dueling Down to the same powers as sage ( A+ teir) Brd and warrior are now on a playable teir Sam is hella mid/ niche teir same with smn/blm dnc/mch All other are either average or not suggested like astro and sch If we are talking about in dueling tournies often the top 5 either banned or heavily restricted In frontlines and CC it depends on the meta compositions Mnk/rpr/ nin are great for solo dueling in CC Mnk / Nin/ mch ( only with lb)for frontlinrs Basically anything with high ST damage excels well in FL and CC dueling Where in dueling arena it's jobs that have high sustain regen and great overall damage do well

What makes me lose it is how they thought that would balance a job that was already underpreforming is crazy 🤪

@@GimmeTOKYO honesty whm getting a nice dps aoe is a value i didnt expect, they already did so much in previous patch so the update in damage was HUGE IMO

@@O.M- for self healing yeah maybe if you run white instead of black but more often then not unless you're getting bursted you'd run black The lb star prism is also huge in healing if you stand in the lb field you'd get a healing amp but I think picto healing is more like a support dps since it does alot of enabling for teams with its muse actions I feel like in all game modes all jobs are viable but because in CC The high rank meta is currently heavy sustain only jobs . Picto works however it doesn't have a big insta kill mechanism like sam or ninja

We a bit silly. My favorite job of all time has always been samurai, but sage, brd and pld have been top favorites since endwalker

@@O.M- from how I see the most effective dance partners will probably end up being a ninja for sure since their lb insta kills and you can keep procing dance of the dawn but brd is also good for kill stealing since you can use it farm lb on both sides Viper doesn't feel as nice since they nerffed the poke burst and now it's more poke spam but it has a nicer sustain and team fight if it's not target #1 Real nerfs are on drg for me in FL Mch feels fine for me and my playstyle But smn is so stupid we don't want a cone 🙄🙄🙄

IM SO GLAD ITS NOT JUST ME HATING ON IT cone attacks with the new latency just feels like it hits almost never when you are fighting a group of people since it will snap to the direction your character is facing, id rather it have lower ptcy and have the bind more

@@Masietro Yeah exactly, also the slipstream no longer has the donut ring thing, like why, what was so op to it, that you had to nerf it, it doesnt even hit right from what I've seen, you have to be on a flat surface to have the skill, hit all the enemies Machinist too, took a pretty big hit by removing the heavy effect from bioblaster

@@O.M- Yeah the AoE for slip is also so finiky but ofc the strat was to buff Astro instead , I mean they balance the game for CC not FL so we just have to deal with the new patch

@@SheonEver yeah if I remember your one shot with drill isn't even possible any more unless you have chainsaw > drill then lb under wildfire but with your lb now snap shotting being block by gaurd you have to be SSOOOOO MUCH MORE AWARE AS MCH

@@Masietro Awesome! I'm not 100% certain on it but it feels like RDM and BLM went through maybe the most extensive reworks. On a purely personal level RDM and DRG interest me the most.

It can be so disgusting in CC as it can hit people who have already passed around a corner

That's the most common inconsistency I've seen wth ninja at the moment doton just doesn't work like it used too And the delayed damage apparently is a consistent trend with all jobs hitting after gaurd is done

So the way that I see viper is a very team dependent dps, especially when it's ult is involved. You have to play around teammate position more and be aware. It still has decent poke damge on command and can do a 20k poke from range like drg but the ult is what differences it Low battle high viper is terrible in 1v1 but that's for all jobs(except nin) Picto to me is an easy job with lower skill floor and ceiling than viper hence it makes it super fun and enjoyable since there is less mental you need to do. I feel like it falls into the same category as and ast, drg However the job is complex when it comes to min maxing it damages since there's like 5 different variations and timing for when to paint and what you need for engages, it is equivalent to playing mch in that respect so c:

@@Masietro ofc i agree with everything ya say. But then again we play frontline where u can be the best player in the world but when 15 ranged ppl spam into u it's never going to be a fun time with any melee hahaha.

Something is missing tho, viper just feels so ungodly slow and snake scales needs to be changed into being able to move with it.

@@SleepyMockii I agree when playing melee it is exceedingly difficult to play into ranged The way I see it to counter is playing into situations where they have to fight, like nodes or objectives where they have to be in close proximity. And pray there isn't a whm

@@SleepyMockii to me if you check my viper guide I go alot about the pros and cons about the job, but yeah snake scales is a detrimental ability 90% of time. But also what makes it slow is that you're locked behind of gcd damage than ogcd
