FAQ
The dogs used are generally cross breeds of wolfhounds cross bred with greyhounds. This provides bigger bodies, more power, and a bit more resiliency. That being said, purebred, greyhounds are used sometimes
and are fantastic hunters.
To those that think we’re laughing about the coyotes being killed that certainly not the case. For what it’s worth, we love the species do enjoy the hunt and see the dogs work. That is the part that is special and exciting to see. Laughing at a coyote being killed isn’t the objective nor what happens. There are many examples that we do let the coyotes go. But if not, they get sold to local fur buyers.
To those that say, we should just take a gun and blast them, that’s just not what we like to do. As humane as some, would, maybe think that would be, I can tell you that we found a lot of coyotes that have had their legs trapped off, their jaws blown off and holes in their bellies and shoulders, and everywhere else. Just because you’re shooting at it doesn’t mean you always get a killshot. But again I’m not here to say one is right or wrong. I’m just saying that’s not our jam. We love to see the dogs work. That’s the number one focus and these dogs love it.
And yes, I’ve thought about making more videos but honestly there’s so many haters on here. I just wanted to document something that I’ve done growing up with my dad. I don’t need any more drama from all the haters.
For the people wondering about why many farmers want coyotes to be killed, in most cases it’s about protecting their calves more than anything. Coyotes love to eat fresh calves, and can wreak havoc on livestock. And yes, it looks like we’re hunting out in cut stubble with no farms around but I assure you these guys know how to go a long ways when there’s calves around and they will find and take them down.
In regards to do the dogs get injured questions. Sure they do sometimes but they are extremely resilient and honestly it’s pretty rare that we need to go to the vet. The greyhound is incredibly capable of going extremely fast, and monitoring the terrain, without being injured in stubble or fields and rocks, and whatever. Keep in mind stubble usually runs in a straight line so they do the same but when they pick their turns, they pick them at full speed they can process that awfully fast, so being injured in a stubble is, well I don’t think it’s ever happened to us. These dogs will run under a fence at full speed which you never really get used to. It’s just fascinating to see that they could do that.
Do they get bit by coyotes? Yes they do. We do train them to go for the neck and if they’re fighting on the neck, they shouldn’t have that problem. Usually when they get it is because they’re biting on the body or the butt which is usually an untrained dog. It usually takes bit a couple times before you realize they should be on the neck. A powerful dog can and will kill on its own but generally it takes a dog or two to do so.
How long does it take for us to get there once a dog catch him? Usually not very long as we’re often close by. we try to get there as quick as possible and if it all possible we’ll let the coyote go or if they have heard it we will quickly dispatch it. I didn’t show that in the video because I knew I’d probably catch enough heat as is just for posting this thing.
As an avid hunter, I rarely even use guns, mostly bow and arrow or a shotgun for birds. I have no problems with anyone who likes to hunt, whatever their style. I would appreciate the gun hunters on here that do you think we should just use a gun and shoot them to consider that guns are never a clean process either. If you’re hunting birds, you’re gonna wound some birds. if you’re hunting big game with rifles, you’re likely to wound some from time to time if you’re fishing, you’re gonna get hooks and fish and you’re gonna likely kill fish that you didn’t intend to. No method is perfect. But the one thing that is amazing is the experience of the outdoors and seeing these dogs work.
Happy hunting to you all. Thanks for enjoying the video.

😮 don't stop coyotito
sounded like that v6 was having trouble getting up on him....lol
keep going brother
It’s an open field for G-ds sake. The coyote doesn’t stand a chance against those Greyhound sight hunters. Let’s see what would happen in the brush against a coyote pack. I actually like and respect coyotes. They’re smart adaptable animals that mate for life. And yes they can be a problem around farm animals. But I don’t accept this as a fix unless they have been a problem with them. My GSD ran with a large male for a couple of days and came home eating mice.
Dude you gotta mount a camera on one of those dogs. Good stuff
Those are some good looking pelt stretchers you have there! I don’t know why commYounisTube thinks they should recommend this video 11 years later, but I’m glad they did!
THANK YOU FOR EXPLAINING ALL….clearly, you are helping the farmers…predators need to go… 😊
Do your dogs let the coyote go after they play with it ???
Are they bull Greyhounds, that's what we run in the UK, but It s banned in the UK.We can only run rabbits, 🦊🦌
Watching your dogs with their heads out of the box looking, they are so damn cute.
You need a drone!
what axholes you guys are! Find something better to do.
Well done
the natural use of the greyhound

How cool Great dogs
I had to subscribe, these are some bad ass dogs!!! You can tell they LOVE their work. That's a ride along Id love to go on!
Keep it going. Old school hunting.
Geez! I'm amazed to see how tough coyotes are! I mean, these dogs are released only after the coyote is exhausted and still.... "I wasn't aware that my seven-year-old daughter was in the room while I was watching this video, and she ended up sobbing without me noticing. I initially tried to convey the danger of coyotes, but she, being old enough, pointed out that domestic dogs have caused more fatalities than coyotes. I shifted my approach and explained the harm they pose to ranchers. I reminded her of our consumption of cows, chickens, and pigs, emphasizing the unavoidable nature of directly or indirectly participating in animal killings. Additionally, I recalled instances when we had to eliminate rats, pigeons, or other unwanted animals not for food but for protection against diseases or threats. She began to comprehend, but then she said, "Why don't we seem happy when we have to kill an animal? People who deal with animal pests see it as a necessary but unpleasant task; they don't enjoy it or boast about it." I was left speechless. In this context, those who eradicate invasive species or undesirable animals receive compensation. No one would find joy in such tasks, let alone take pleasure in them and do it for free or for fun."
Having had a pack of Walker coon hounds I am amazed at these Grey hounds how aggressive they are, wow thanks for sharing.
This dude made one video, has 5.3 million views and dipped out! Deuces! Lol
That's pretty bad ass! I didn't think whimpy looking grey hounds were killers
Coyote hunting, "no guns needed"!
Ya remember that when die the your feeling and going for killing something that didn't hurt you enjoy the fire your soul Burns in hell
There should be human hunting. You should be the first ones in line. I would like to see what if you had no guns...How can this even exist. You're the cruelest creatures.Do you know how much effort those it take for these animals to stay alive in the while? And then they meet ass***s like you to destroy them in a second. Shame on you and the ones like you.
Hats off to you guys! Keep them coyotes down to a good population! Nice job!! Don't let the haters get you down! Just ignore them they are trash that bunch of idiot animal activists!
Nothing beats a good set of dogs doing what they are for the race and the kill but the race is best of all
Those are some awesome dogs 😊
Love it
These hunters kill for the fun of it. Why this clip has not been removed yet makes me think.
Dude this shit is awesome I have to come see this in person. those dogs u have are workers. Man I love working dogs nothing would better than to see them in action the best part is them loaded up waiting for u to drop the gate
Looks like a fur missile launch from a rickety ole Buff. 🤣
You should REALLY consider filming some hunts & catches with drones. That would be EPIC.
Damn that looks fun!
Dogs are great. To see them run down a coyote is impressive.
Poor quality nothing but making me sick do better guys I'd love to watch. Constructive criticism
Go pros on their chest would have been an interesting perspective!
Awesome 😎
Them dogs are fast
I've always wondered how badly do their legs get cut up on that stubble. That stuff is sharp. Great content. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing Dogs! Their living the life!🤙
the joy of killing. sick shit
Too bad the dogs don’t have cameras on them, man they sure can run across that field and they are loving it.
What kind of dogs
DUMB
You guys still doing this in 2022? Proper sport 💪🏻
I praise the men and their dogs for going after coyotes keep up the good work
太棒了👍
kinda feel sorry for the coyotes, I would prefer a fast death from a bullet, but that's life
What do you wind up doing with the bodys? I assume you'd cut them up and feed them to your dogs or sell them?
