Overall yes, it's only on the tops where the wood grain is more open and porouse it struggled and these places could do with a new coat again now and also the board at the base where it gets damp the most but I would use it again

@@purplerabbitfilms Just had a stretch of hawthorn hedge replaced with a paling fence. Personally I'd get it treated now rather than let it fade but apparently I'm not allowed to, so I'm just doing research for when the time comes. Ducksback does seem to be the thing!

I'm no expert but being 10 years old. It would definitely need preparation of some sort or you would be wasting your money. Needs to be dry and free of any moss damp before even thinking about it

I can't remember the setting of this video as a while ago now. Play around with the saturation setting as it can tend to blow out the picture. If I can find the original footage I can take a look. Thanks for watching and your comment

It's looks pretty good to be honest but it is a lille green around the base and some panels so it's good that it is green to start with. I'm going to be checking not too long to see how I feel it's done in a year

Sealing knots is a good idea but this is not a paint. It is a pigment in a preserver which is designed to penetrate the wood so a primer is not best in this case

@@purplerabbitfilms you would use a clear knotting solution and painting staining over grey weathered timber isn't a good idea. you need to treat the timber with owatrol oil first mean your using a water based system or use a timber reviver to get back down to sound timber

They are actually the stock tires and have been modded by cutting out some of the lugs to become more open, so they don't clogg up as much. Seems to work. There are videos out there to show you what to do. Thanks for the comment

I can only go by my experience. I have 5 6x6 tanalised panels. They were already coated from years before apart from the new lattice top piece. I used 2 x 9 litre tubs. That was enough. The second coat used a lot less. I did both sides. Hope this helps

To add. Ensure you give it a very good stir. If not you will find the top of the tin will be thinner. Keep giving it a stir. If you find it thicker half way into the tin. Yes water it down a bit.

I use it all the TIME. definitely a good tip as very handy and FREE

I've got a dji mini one. Is a quality bit of kit. It is in a different league to the flyhal. I find the wind warning on the mavic mini is a Pain. Apparently the new mini 3 is much better but is costly. I like the way the flyhal can cope with winds but in all other areas the dji is way better. Main bonus of the dji is its sub 250g. Allowing many more flight options
